Germany is obviously a very lucky country for Nelson. However, his lap in Q2 was still fairly impressive when you consider who else was fighting to get in to the top ten...

Exactly, certainly having watched the GP2 race, Grojean doesn't exactly fill me with hope. He needs to stop being complacent!

Grosjean probably reckons all he needs to do is sit around and wait for Piquet to crash again and walk into that Renault cockpit without having to lift a finger.

That's exactly how it appears!

Piquet was a lucky boy today. I've no doubts, however, he'll finish behind Alonso tomorrow.

yes i was surprised and pleased to see that he out qualified his team mate, but unfortunately i dont see it lasting the race tomorrow!
very interesting grid though! a Force India out qualifies both Ferraris, the Renaults qualify back to front, Hamilton is at the buisness end of the grid, and will Brawn have to make a choice eho they want to finish higher? hmm interesting Grand Prix tomorrow, for the first time in a while we hav a few stories playin out here! :cloud9:

He's staying.
Have you noticed when we leave the lad alone he does okay in Qually?
he was 2nd at one stage. Wet weather play good for the lad :wavey:

So i think he shut Flavio up this weekend with doing better than Alonso.

but i think in 2010, he's gone

He didn't seem that good in the wet, he just managed to get on the right tyres at the right time. As soon as the race started he was right back behind Alonso

I want Piquet to stay in F1, but can't see it happening.

Do you know what? I think he should stay until at least the end of the season.

Fair play. What the point of bringing anyone else in?
They would only o the same, they will need to practice, so end of season winter testing is the best time.

I would get rid of Piquet and give Grosjean the remaining races.

What if he can't get to grips with the car? plus he ain't exactly a looker.....so Sponsors would find it hard to sell products
