It is amazing that as soon as someone mentions Hitler, everyone jumps. Had Ecclestone instead said something along George Bush getting things done, no one would say anything. In the end if Hitler comparisons are bad because Hitler was bad, then George Bush wasn't much different now was he. Just a thought I guess. And yeah it is quarter past 4 in the morning, I can't sleep so that is why I am posting this ridiculous message mentioning the names of 3 idiots. Hitler, Bush and Ecclestone. Ummm maybe I'll mention a 4th name to add to that list. Max Mosley the man who probably idols the likes of both Hitler and Bush. We all know why too. I will be glad to see evil and madman Max Mosley gone soon.

But you can't honestly be comparing Hitler with Bush. Yes, Bush had his myriad faults, but he didn't secretly exterminate millions of people whilst simultaneously starting the largest war the world has ever seen in which millions of soldiers and civilians also died. There's a key difference between the two, call it hate, call it evil, but Bush didn't kill people just because he wanted to see them dead - he always thought he was ultimately seeking a greater good, be that freedom or be that oil (more of the latter than the former, clearly!).

Anyway, back on topic, if Ecclestone were running any other enterprise other than FOM, he would have to resign over this. (Well, I suppose Ryanair's O'Leary might have gotten away with it too...)

Man his comments are just insane. There were plenty of other past leaders he could have referred to but no; Bernie used Hitler!
