True, but part of the problem is that McLaren and Ferrari both were in a development war right up to the very end of the 2008 season. If both teams had more time the develop their 2009 cars, their money, facilities and expertise would have shown through.

the slicks the aero these are massive changes compared to last year let alone 02. Just ask McLaren and Ferrari. if they werent such drastic changes they would still be at the front of the pecking order.
