Erm, Raikkonen has already publicy said that he will be racing for Ferrari next season in F1/the new FOTA championship. I bet these reports are regarding a future (ie 2011 or beyond) move... just like we've heard and read many times before!

Things change very quickly in F1; get out clauses galore in contracts these days, I wouldn't be surprised to see Alonso in Red next year; and I don't see Massa going anywhere, Ferrari like their obedient second driver; Rubens Barrichello would probably still be there if he didn't quit Ferrari!

ALONSO NO GO FOR FERRARI!!!!

Ferrari has dismissed as ‘speculation’ the latest reports that Monza could be the scene of an announcement about Fernando Alonso's 2010 seat.

The Spanish newspaper Diario AS reported this week that September 11, the Friday of the Italian Grand Prix, may have been set aside to confirm the Spaniard alongside one of the Maranello team's existing drivers.

The report coincided with confirmation that, for the first time, the Italian marque's end-of-season 'World Finals' event in mid November is scheduled to take place in Spain.

But spokesman Luca Colajanni said: "We are not going to waste our time commenting on speculation.

"Everyone should remember that Massa and Raikkonen have contracts which include 2010," he told Italy's La Gazzzetta dello Sport.

At Monza Ferrari will announce that Alonso has signed a contract with the team for the 2011 season. I guarantee it!

i guarantee they are testing Massa, because if Kimi don't come up to scratch, theoretically he could go to another Scuderia team. As they have links with FIAT too, i think he could do anything.....maybe even Moto Gp ;) *Joke*

My prediction has to be that he will top Schumacher's records, look at it, he scored 2 titles with Renault, Michael scored 2 titles with Benetton! Alonso will score 6 titles with Ferrari and be the new best thing :P

The parallels with Schumi career is spooky! But I don't see him winning six titles. Possibly another three as Mclaren and Red Bull will be around with good cars and good drivers. Alonso will keep that seat warm till Vettel has won a couple of titles with Red Bull.

I've always felt that Alonso's career up until 2007 was in direct comparison to Schumacher's.

Although I don't think he will come anywhere near winning seven titles, I do think that there is the possibility that he will win one or two more.
