I think that is a bigger problem in general with F1; fees to host a F1 race are obscene lining Bernie's very substantial pockets which prices many people out of attending GP's.
...The best interests of the sport? Bernie has no interest in the best interests of the sport... lower ticket prices would see grandstands full... but not at several hundred (your currency here)! Bernie and CVC are out to make as much money as they can, if tickets were say 50 £/$ many more people could afford to attend races.

F1 prices need reducing to get everyday sausage, Toms and Harrys in.

Yeah that way the actual costs inside the events would be cheaper too. Im sorry £5 for a cheeseburger. WTF

I know.
All the food prices are the same, so you can't get a good deal.

I like the track just needs much more fans, I would rather see other tracks go first!

But if you go, you are happy if it is quiet.

I was reading somewhere, F1 Racing i think that the GP wasn't at all promoted in Turkey until one week before the race, and also that the main target market are students and the like who can't actually afford to go!

Disagree... i'd rather have an awesome atmostphere than not have to queue for the toilet.

I've been expecting this since he wrote his post. Yeah, don't eat that junk food.

Back on topic: I'd like to go to attend some races, but, ticket prices are too high, and if I add expenditure of trip (there's no F1 race in Croatia) it's anything but cheap.

Nicely said Scotty, what's the point in going then? You need the banter, you need the competition. Then to an extent you need the F1 yobbos! i love Footy games because of the Yobbos passion, i am one of them Yobbos! i love to have a row for Ferrari, this season Vettel! Then at the end we have a laugh about the race! Otherwise you might else go to the library and watch the race on a portable

Good point that.
The atmosphere is a very important factor.
