And as far as a complete driver on the grid? Fernando Alonso is the definition of a complete F1 driver.

I agree totally, but Alonso is a different type of driver which I think makes people think he's not complete. Also the car doesnt help :hehe:

I like how you attempted the report leo, and I agree with alot of what it says. Very Good.

Thank you.
At least there are some people out here who actually read what I've put and give me psitive feedback instead of negative. I'm only 14 and I have a lot to learn in this sport so please don't bash me like this, it's quite hurtfull

I for one have never doubted Button's promise. Even in his day in the Renault Powered F3 car back in 1999.
It happens alot in F1. People kick drivers when they are down, then praise them to the ends when they are on top. The mark of a true great is the ability to show how good you are despite poor machinery sending you down the order. I think Button was a bit varied with the poor Honda, however he did equally well as say Hamilton or Alonso do in comparison.

The guy deserved a break, the car is perfect for him and he truely deserves the world championship if he wins this season.

There can be ifs and buts, about Bahrain or Malaysia or Australia for example, but I never buy these.

To Win you must finish first. And Button did just that.

Most of us here aren't trying to "bash" you. For me it is just a clash of opinions and from some of the comments I have it is more constructive criticism.

Yeah I've had an editor of an F1 news site say that he thought it was fantastic and alot of positive support for this. But to just go out and see how much time and effort I've put into this and to then decide to bash me about the park. It's not nice.

And I like to get constructive critisism but the way people are saying these kind of things is not pleasant at all.

Everywhere you go someone will disagree with your opinion; by the same token you'll always find someone who you disagree with... simple fact of life and not worth worrying about.

Welcome to the internet. When you say things or people are bad, or question the talent of other people, people are going to call you out on it.

I don't believe there is a complete driver on the grid at the moment; Michael Schumacher is the only driver in recent times to be good in a competitive car and a non-competitive one, pushing Jacques Villeneuve for the world drivers title to the last race in 1998 in only his second year at Ferrari springs to mind!

That was in 1997 not 1998 when Schumacher brought it to the last race in Jerez against Villeneuve. Schumacher was also completely disqualified from that championship if my memory serves me correctly.

And as far as a complete driver on the grid? Fernando Alonso is the definition of a complete F1 driver.

Of course it was 1997; I knew it was the year after Damon Hill won the WDC; for some reason I had it in my head that DH won it in 1997, I stand corrected!
And yes Schumacher was disqualified from the WDC after the fact as a symbolic gesture by the FIA after allegations that the FIA were in the pocket of Ferrari.
As for Alonso being a complete driver I disagree; his part in the spy-gate debacle with McLaren in 2007 put him out of favour with me!

Unfortunately if you want to publish your work in any media form; some people will agree and others will disagree, it's a fact of life! It doesn't mean that it's wrong (unless it's factually incorrect, that's whole new can of worms), you just have a different view on things. Don't give up because others don't agree and give you a hard time!
