Ditto, I missed the Brno race as I was at Silverstone. But I'll be watching the Spa races this weekend.
I'm starting to have a theory about these new designs cars, with narrow rear wings, and wider front wings. I don't think their helping at all. They don't seem to help in F1, and they don't seem to help in F2. In fact, it seems to just be creating feild spread.
Soucek wins second race at Brands
By Steven English Sunday, July 19th 2009, 13:13 GMT
Andy Soucek has won the second Formula 2 race of the weekend at Brands Hatch.
The Spaniard started from pole position and kept his lead through several restarts as racing was halted three times. He broke away from second-placed Robert Wickens time and again as rain and numerous incidents broke up the race. The event was stopped for good with Soucek comfortably clear of Wickens and Mikhail Aleshin third.
The first red flag came on the second lap with Milos Pavlovic spinning into the gravel at Paddock Hill Bend after contact with Kazim Vasiliauskas as it began to rain, and Henry Surtees spun across the road exiting Druids after being forced onto the grass by Tobias Hegewald.
The safety car was on track just two laps after the restart following a collision between Sebastian Hohenthal and German Sanchez where the latter's car was thrown into the air and left stranded on the edge of the track.
On the first lap after the next restart, Jack Clarke spun off into the wall exiting Westfield and bounced back into the track. His rear wheel bounced back across the track and appeared to strike Surtees on the head as he passed. Surtees car then ploughed straight ahead into the barrier on the approach to Sheene.
The son of 1966 world champion John is being stabilised at the circuit's medical facility before being transfered to hospital, but there is no word on his condition yet.
Soucek then had to cope with one more dramatic moment when his car failed to start as the cars prepared to leave the grid. But it eventually fired up and he was able to resume the race in the lead and reel off the remaining five laps.

Surtees injured in accident at Brands
By Steven English Sunday, July 19th 2009, 13:27 GMT
Henry Surtees has been injured in an accident in today's second Formula 2 race at Brands Hatch.
The 18-year-old son of 1966 F1 world champion John was struck on the head by a flying rear wheel after Jack Clarke spun into the wall exiting Westfield Bend during today's race.
Surtees' car then ploughed straight ahead into the barrier on the approach to Sheene Curve. Surtees was extricated from the car and taken to the circuit's medical centre, where he is being stabilised before being transfered to hospital.
There is no word yet on his condition or the extent of his injuries.
