Rubens wasnt happy in the press conference, you could tell he was pissed off that Jenson was moved to a two stopper.

Thing is, Rubens' strategy should have worked, which will frustrate him even more!

How much longer will I have to wait? :(

No longer than till Brazil. There is no force in heaven or on earth that will stop Rubens winning there in the Brawn.

But I think he'll win before then too.

it would have worked if Jenson stayed on a 3 stopper as well. thats the whole point not that he didnt put in the quick times in a certain stint, more to the fact Jenson did a 2 stopper!

Brazil :hehe: But that's always been rubens boogie track.

Rubens will win, when. When he stops doing 3 stoppers. :D

his words were " I was surprised when Jenson switched to a two stopper" were they not?

I disagree. A better third stint would have done it for him, and the extra time he could have had from staying out in either the second or third stint could have at least made things a little closer after his last stop. The three-stop strategy easily had the potential to be better than Jenson's two-stop strategy. If fuel consumption was at its optimal, it was possible that Rubens could have done only nine or ten laps on the hard tyre.

youre missing the point though, Rubens and Jenson both had a 3 stop strategy. if they both stayed on that Rubens would have won. the fact BrawnGP switched Jenson to a 2 stopper stuffed Rubens up! No way a 3 stopper will beat a 2 stopper

Why they move Jens and not Rubens?? :scratchchin:
Rubens was faster in the fist stint even when a bit heavier so didnt he deserve the move to the more favourable strategy?

Once again:

Jens was being moved onto what they thought was the less than optimal strategy. Brawn were expecting Rubens to beat Jenson's 2 on the 3.

Well thats stupid. Anyone could see the move to two stop was better. Why would you move someone from what you assume is a winning strategy to a less than optional one??

Because JB was faster behind RB and was held up by him at the beginning (team radio!). So Ross wanted to separate them by switching strategies on the fly.

The lap times would disagree with that. After the safety car, there was never more than a tenth in Jenson's favour and for most of that stint Rubens was faster.
