any team is going to be worth quiet alot now if sold once the gird slots become full

As i mentioned in a previous thread Jordan went from 60mil to 106mil because 1 more team came into F1

Doubt it. Toro Rosso isn't as valuable an asset as it seems to be.

Well, they're somewhat centrally placed and they have a lot of facilities in place. I think a new entry would be better off snapping up Scuderia Toro Rosso and their Faenza facilities than they would be starting from scratch.

To be fair they could just wait until the grid is full then sell torro rosso then because that is when the team would be the most valuble.

They're in Italy, away from F1's Silicon Valley, have no current (Significant) Design department and are structured to current F1 Economic Rules. To some entries, for sure they're a good pick so long as they can fill in the gaps a bit, but they're not right for iSport or anyone else with existing racing teams.

Hadn't considered that actually (what happened to the supposed imminent banning of customer cars?), although i think it'd be the other way round - Toro Rosso becomes ______ if you get me.

It is, and was always going to be, from 2010 onwards and not 2009 like most people believe.

Ah. Buying STR would make sense for some factions, ie those starting from scratch without any current staff or facilities - most of the TR guys have been around the block with Minardi, and i think experience is a valuable asset in those situations!
