Won't Brawn eventually need a significant cash injection to keep developing the car?

Commentary today mentioned the lack of sponsors.

Branson is looking to up the partnership, im impressed he is still attending races. seems he has caught the bug! and yeah commentary mentioned sponsors should be lining up to fill the void and replace the Brawn logo. But in the current climate i think its not as easy as it seems.

Not for this year I don't think as long as they get the money from Bernie they will have enough, what they need is proper long term sponsors for the following years.

I think Brawns tyre manegment is key to their success. This weekend they seemed to be off the pace in Qualifing and practice but over the long runs their gentleness on the tyres seems to pay dividens.

And their developments that come for Spain may take care of some of their lack in quali pace...

Yeah, seems like every external piece of the car is being improved in Barcelona.

well maclaren did bring a new diffuser to Bahrain and they did move slightly forward. Whether it's attributable to the diffuser is known only to them if anyone.

Anyone notice Haug being chummy with one of the Toyota drivers right before they had to clear the grid? I forget which one.

Seems like Hamilton was running in about the same position he was in OZ I'd like to see them drop their KERS and rebalance the car, see if it makes a difference. The Mercedes engine works fine without KERS in the Brawn GP cars.

Don't think that Brawn have had their last win becasue Ross Brawn is such an amazing stratigist but do think that a point will come about mid-way through the season when other teams will storm past. Its a matter of money really, Toyota and Red Bull will develop faster as they have a lot more people (remembering that Brawn had to sack large amounts of Honda emploies).

Plus when Newey comes out of his office weilding his new diffuser Red Bull are going to be better in my opinion. Hopefully Williams' flywheel KERS will give the a leg up too.

They may get closer but I doubt they will as you say 'storm past' BGP especially since testing is banned, there are too many variables involved between wind-tunnel and on-track testing. Also a years jumpstart ahead of everyone else pays and is paying huge dividends for BGP.

Brawn will win more for sure this year. Now that they have been doing so well the sponsors like Virgin will pile more and more money into them to make sure that they can afford to do what they need to do. Apart from that they have Brawn running the show and he knows what he is doing. The other teams are 'catching up', once they have caught up they need to surpase Brawn GP. Button is a pretty consistant driver so I would be very suprised to not see him on the podium again this year.

I dunno who I want to win the WDC because it is gonna be JB's only year, but I want Vettel to set another record; youngest ever World Champion.

Wouldn't mind either, as long as its not Barichello.

If RB did win the WDC would he be the oldest?

Nah. I think Fangio would be. He was around 45, 46 when he won his last WDC, I think.
