I agree with what's been said. It's your job as a driver to adapt and to push. Bourdais doesn't appear to be awfully adaptable at times. He moaned a lot in champ car as well. I think it's a trend he's got himself into. If the car works, he'll be blisteringly fast, like at Spa last year. But if it doesn't, he underperforms largely.

He mentions a weak point there. Personally I've never heard someone mention such a large weak-point. But for sure STR will keep him till the end of the year. Will they keep him beyond that, is questionable.

Bourdais has a bit of a habit of whinging when everything's going wrong, but I really hope he does get his act together eventually and shows us why he won 4 Champcar/CART titles and puts Buemi in his place.

He won 4 champcar series because it was a weak series. I'm not convinced he's that quick. He should be a more solid performer with the experience he has too. I like him and I hope he picks up but atm he's not doing the job he should be

Thing is with Kimi, is he has demonstrated an ability to drive round problems and handling woes in the past, that was what was really strange about last season. i think motivation was a huge part of why Kimi did badly last season, partly his own lack of it after winning the WDC but also partly down to the team structure.

Button vs Barrichello last season is a better example but still I feel Bourdais needs to demonstrate at least that he's either very quick or dependable. I was expecting him to be a dependable Heidfeld type of driver rather than be blisteringly fast but he hasn't really shown either trait with any regularity.

He's getting paid more money in a year than most of us will make in several lifetimes. If he can't get the job done, he should be shown the door.

Bourdais' drive was under a lot of pressure over the winter, I think Torro Roso are keen to bring in a pay driver. When you're a pay driver, you can be about as awful as you like

My point is you're calling for him to be given the boot already. He's outperformed Kubica so far this year, should Kubica get the boot too?

I wasn't calling for head, at least until I read his latest sob story. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, but there's always with something the matter with Bourdais. Claiming the team's against you and you can't deal with the car is tantamount to saying you're not up to scratch.

To be fair, the evidence that Toro Rosso has a confrontational relationship with some of its drivers is stacking up.
