If I were Ecclestone and Mosley, I'd be rubbing my hands in glee at al the in-fighting going on amongst the teams.

Ecclestone has probably suggested to his buddy Flav that it would be worth his while if he did this haha!

If they've any sense they'll keep the fighting to car issues and seperate it from team unity for FOTA. Erm, sense, Flavio  not sure that will work.

It seems Flavio's got something new to moan about every week, what's next? Brawn's catering services serving too many bacon, sausage and egg butties?

QPR's tactics, AGAIN? :hehe::rolleyes:

An exception was made to Renault to further develop their engine so they could be more competitive this year,
and now he's bitching at Braun for coming up with a better Aero package , What a w***er. He should stop worrying about Braun's aero package and get on with some better pit strategy for Alonso. Clearly to call him in while circulating behind the safety car in second was just plain stupid, If he wanted to start Alonso in last place he should have started him from pit lane and changed to a wet setup.

McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh says it would "hypocritical" to deny Brawn GP the funds that were due to Honda.

During the winter, keen for Honda to find a buyer for their team, the Formula One Teams' Association agreed that whoever bought the outfit should be entitled to Honda's share of F1's television revenue.

But in the wake of Brawn's success and the twin-diffuser row, Renault boss Flavio Briatore is now proposing that the money should instead be shared amongst Brawn's rivals.

Whitmarsh, though, is against Briatore's motion.

"At the moment we've undertaken as a team to support Brawn," he told Autosport. "Clearly, there's a lot of support given by this team and Mercedes during the winter because we saw the importance of keeping Brawn in F1.

"It would now be hypocritical, because it happens to be painful for us because they're competitive to not want to give them a proportion of the distribution under Concorde.

"We need some calmness within FOTA - there's a FOTA meeting called for after Bahrain and we need to calm down.

"As a team, we've generally stayed out of it because we can see the potential for causing a lot of flamboyant gestures. The world is in an economic crisis, the automotive sector is going through a tough time and what F1 should be doing is acting responsibly, remaining calm, making sure we work together and that's certainly our view.

"We've said that we support Brawn. We've said that we're going to, in that they're considered a new entry, distribute Concorde monies to them, and we should do what we said we were going to do."

Well said Martin

Good stuff from Whitmarsh. Briatore is a twat and doesn't realise (or the care) the damage he is doing to FOTA.

Nice one Martin  Good call!!

Isn't Briatore a very good friend of Bernie E, and wasn't FOTA created to try and lessen BE power over F1? Wasn't renault given some leeway in their engine development program in the off season so their engine can have as much power as Ferrari and Mclaren? No surprise than that Briatore is stirring things up. FOTA has no power unless they stay unified. Bratore is the biggest Hypocrite in F1 right now.

Well done Whitmarsh, that's the best thing you've done so far as the new CEO of McLaren.

Nice one Martin, absolutely spot on.

Also, where was Flavio screaming that Red Bull was a new Entry, undeserving or funding or Renault for that matter?
