I believe the carbon footprint of BF's is not that different from oil once you consider the fleets of trucks required to transport it from the farmers>refineries>consumer.

Not if the fuel these 'fleets' use is clean.

I agree with Max - Biofuels could be away of the Future, However it is both detrimental to the human population i.e. producing an inadequate food supply and also to the environment in that the majority of the rainforest is being lost to create bioplantations. And what does the Rainforest do for the planent? But produce the majority of our Oxygen supplies!!!!!!!!

Americans will be ok for longer than the rest of us if we have no food.
