It's such a great car he can't wait to bail out of McLaren.

The Ferrari seems to have better race pace than in quali, although it is still quite hard to tell off their 2 races so far. They are still not with the diffuser lot and RBR though...

I literally can't believe people think McLaren will be genuine race win challengers this season. The car has fundamental design flaws and there are 6 teams faster than them who will be developing their cars as well!

I don't think he will bail looking at what Martin said he commented that the articles about his commitment have no truth to them and that Lewis seems as dedicated as ever.

As dedicated as ever? That implies Hamilton has always been loyal to McLaren, and that is very far from the case. Hamilton is out for himself and is not the mindless team boy most believe.

Well McLaren have said they want to win in Spain which is a bold statement! I think McLaren can win at least 1 race this year look at what Renault did in the last part of 2008. What are the fundamental flaws you think the MP4-24 has? I know it lacks aero now but that can be fixed.

Well I hope he stays!

i belive in Mclaren's Tech staff and engineers there some of the best in the business so i think they can turn it around.

That reflects poorly on him, especially given the fact McLaren gives him more or less a free ride no matter what he does even now.

Well, there is a fundamental lack of grip which the drivers and team have mentioned a lot in interviews. I know Renault won races last season, but they were not 'genuine race win challengers', i think you'll agree.

The same can be said of most teams though.

I don't disagree. To be honest, I've really not been happy with McLaren fawning all over Hamilton.

Isn't it great to see such teams as Brawn GP, Toyota, Red Bull and Williams outperforming their bigger counterparts. It's about time as well. The sheer arrogance of Ferrari, Renault and BMW really got to me. They think it's their God given right that they are better than everyone else.

This is why the Diffuser issue is really annoying me. We've got those three teams (Ferrari, Renault and BMW) acting like juveniles 'just cos the smaller teams made better cars than ours'. Flavio Briatore is one who gets on my nerves. He can't accept that his team has made a dog of a car, and has gone about his usual arrogant self of late and starts mouthing off about the genius that is Ross Brawn. Never trust this guy, he chucked Jenson Button out of Renault 'because he was a playboy' (and also because he didn't want his lover boy Alonso being threatened). Try looking in the mirror Flavio!

There is some fear in me that the Diffuser Row is going to go against Brawn, Williams and Toyota and that the big boys are going to get their way - well, the FIA does stand for Ferrari International Assistance, doesn't it? Surely it can't go against them - it would be the biggest farce ever if the diffuser teams were deemed illegal.

Here's hoping that the bigger teams are humiliated for the whole season. :drink:

Brawn GP had a bigger budget with Honda last year to build their car then BMW. BMWSauber has only been in exisiting a few years longer the Brawn GP, so I don't know how you get the "sheer arrogance" and "God given right they are better they anyone else" from them. Red Bull also protested the rear diffuser but I find it convienent that you leave them out, protesting anyone's advantage has been going on since day one of F1, every team does it all the time, even during races with their emails to the stewards, if you are not protesting your rival's advantage then you are not doing your job properly. As for the Toyota being
a "small" team, really??

Thank-you for that, our resident expert in talking B0llocks

Do you really think Lewis is so loyal to the team that he won't leave if he can find something better?

Hes a racing driver and a compatative one at that if Mclaren have a run of bad cars i don't think he'll stick around.

But if the cars are good then he will stay.

The was talk of button leaving honda in 07/08 after the cars they produced were basicly s***.

But on this speculation regarding him leaving i think its bollacks since his dad (and manager) has denied it.
