I would say that the Lamb was Vettel, Kubica was 3x faster then then Vettel and Vettel should just have let him pass. I mean Kubica was obviously fighting for the win with his tires and he could easily have caught up with Button :eek:
Well, guess we can just call it racing.........

That's why it was so moronic of RK to try in that corner rather than on a straight.

If you only have a few laps to catch a car AND get by it, then you dont have time to WAIT, you need to react immidetly and that´s what Kubica did......Unfortunently this time it didn´t work out as planned.

Uh duh! Because it was idiotic like DC would do. At least he didn't get any points for his stupidity.

He had plenty of time to wait, if the 2 didnt crash Kubica still would've passed Vettel on the straight. Besides Vettel's tires were shot.

What a moron! He could have waited another lap and take SV on a straight - SV's supersoft tires were already shot. :banghead::banghead:
And then the fashion RK did try to overtake - almost like DC in his best or worst days. And not leaving any room for SV whatsoever :banghead::banghead:
:censored::censored:

Absolutely GUTTED :banghead::crying:

I would also like to add BARRICHELLO you :censored: that first corner collision was stupid, unnecessary and your fault.

Did Barrichello say Kovalainen hit him from behind going into the first corner as his reason for being all over the place?

I think his move was really stupid. Especially after such strong race.

However SV is to blame as well, he should have let him go, there was no chance for him to get trough.

Think SV was apologising his team cause afterwards he realise that he should let him go

Interesting way of seeing it. If you're so much faster you should overtake without stupid risks. Vettel obviously defends his position, and not going to stop on the grass to give up a position.

Yup, just as I see it. Kubica had enough raw speed to wait a corner and take SV safely there, and then they'd both be on the podium. It was really stupid of Kubica.

It wasn't Rubens fault he got rear ended by Kovalainen which pushed him into the other cars. Both SV and RK were to blame 50/50 for what happened in the later collision.

calm down DD leave DC out of this dammit!

I would put the blame on Vettel on that one he broke early he knew his tyres were shot so why defend in such a stupid manner?

So I guess by your logic it was Massa's fault for running into Bourdais at Japan last year, yet you still thought it was Bourdais' fault. Typical fanboy defending their driver. :rolleyes:

Well, that's actually what DD did contend after the said event. :rolleyes:

I don't know what DD is getting wound up about. It was a racing incident. If anything, you could argue that Vettel had as good as lost the place, so should have eased off. Indeed, he's even put his hand up and said the collision was his fault.

I wouldn't go as far as to say stupid move, much more appropriate would be hasty move. Had he waited another few corners he'd almost certainly have been past cleanly; but hindsight is a wonderful thing in F1!! (see: 1994 Adelaide; Damon Hill would almost definitely been WDC had he waited one more corner) :DF1 Drivers don't think about waiting, they think about racing! I'm quite sure we'll see many similar moves throughout the season by different individuals and most of them will come off just fine. It just so happened that in this particular move, neither driver was going to budge and the inevitable collision happened. A shame for both drivers, but definitely (no question) a 50/50 incident.

But what was so stupid about it? He was on the racing line, heading for the corner. His tyres weren't shot, they just weren't performing as well as Kubica's. And these guys are racing, after all. I wouldn't just blame Kubica, but that was in no way just Vettel's fault.

I couldn't give a damn what anyone says. Kubica made a suicide dive at the apex of the turn. Vettel couldn't have done anything to avoid the collision. He was at the acceleration point. If he would have braked, he would have slid into kubica. If he would have accelerated (as he did), he still would have (and did) hit kubica. If Vettel would have simply lifted his heels, he would have lost traction and still hit Kubica. It was entirely Kubica's fault. As soon as Kubica dived in, Vettel was screwed. That's all there is to it. If there are any other drivers with formula experience out there, feel free to challenge my assessment. However, I doubt they will. This was a textbook example of exactly what not to do.

If he was going for the win, he couldn't just wait to take SV. Not saying that he wasn't foolish, or that RK wasn't at fault, But it isn't quite as simple as you portray it.

RB was pushed from behind. Still unsure, but it looks like HK was the cause of that accident. As much as anyone is at fault.

Yeah, Kovalainen definitely has to take his share of the blame, but accidents usually happen at the first corner at Albert Park.
