EJ and DC will end up having an on air argument. They keep jibing each other.

Hopefully they do that at every race!! It will make great TV!

Didn't you notice with the coverage today, Jake basically got pushed to the side with Branson and it was EJ and DC  Amazing!

It was brilliant! It's a long time since I have laughed that hard watching F1. DC's face when EJ was praising Schumacher was priceless!!

I think they did a decent job. I thought the presenters/pundits were going to be in a studio?

Nah, FOM wouldn't let them put one anywhere good.

I liked the team, they're doing a really good job.

I was expecting to see a studio too. Bernie probably offered them the same piece of grass next to the garages that Jordan were given as a "garage" at one race during the 1991 season.

I though DC was excellent. He looked fairly comfortable and knew when he'd said enough.

Jordan was a little bit dull, but I think it's better to have two than one. I was never exactly enthralled by what Mark Blundell had to say back on ITV.

I've been pretty disappointed so far. Aside from Croft's mindless platitudes and inability to speak properly, Davidson's digressions and fetish towards Brawn, Jordan's nothings and cheap gibes, and Humphrey's non-existent knowledge about the sport, the coverage seems as though it's geared up for people who've never watched Formula One before in their lives. It makes for painfully tedious listening. Even the much vaunted Legard is annoying; he doesn't know when to shut up, so Brundle can explain a point of interest, and in trying to exciting, he comes across as melodramatic. To be honest, Allen was much easier on the ear. Sadly, he let himself down was his orgasmic bias towards British drivers.

Yep. Can't wait for it either.

I thought it was okay really, Brundle and Legard will work better once they've had a race or two to get some sort of 'rhythm' in place, as you would reasonably expect with any new pair of commentators. I'm sure i only noticed Lee McKenzie speak once though... my only slight annoyance is that they didn't bring Louise Goodman from ITV, she was good at her job.

Agreed, they've started very well and they'll get better still.

Same here, she might appear more in the race coverage.

As Broadcasters go, I don't rate her at all. Kravitz is better.

I always thought she was good at getting interviews with the drivers and asked them decent questions... but fair enough. I agree about Kravitz though, he is good at his job too, despite seeming like a bit of a... tool? :hehe:

I never found Allen easy on the ear, his excitement often sounded forced and a lot of his comments were ridiculous but everyone has different opinions of him.
It'll take a few races to see what Legard's like, he's only done one quali session so far.

James Allen has a voice that grates. I dunno what it is, but he annoyed me. Plus his voice didn't fit his face, but then again that wasn't really a problem.

Ted Kravitz is alright. Just keep him in the pits.

Louise would've loved to be broadcasting this year. More chances to interview Jenson :hehe:

I hope that there wont be any mid race interviews for Jenson this season.

Ready made replacement in Hamilton, so no worries. :hehe:
