For me it's not so much the colour as the striping. I might be ale to put up with it if it were solid

Yeah, you're right. It's not exactly subtle either.
How can they justify building a whole new race track in the current economic climate when for a portion of the cost they could make improvements to Magny Cours, Paul Ricard or Le Mans? It just seems silly what makes them think that a new track can provide a better race or make more money than any of the exsisting tracks?

I think so too. If the whole F1 theme right now is to cut costs..... i think thinking about a flamboyant Paris track or building a brand new track from scratch is the opposite. Why not just deal with whatever's available right now in Frnace, and then as the economic climate improves... think about the other options.
