The Attitude era of 97-2002 was amazing. The McMahon/Stone Cold fued made the business and crushed the WCW. But underpinning that you had great superstars like The Rock, Triple H, Mankind, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker etc.

That was when I watched wrestling. I remember the Hardy boys were my favorites, and of course Stone Cold. I also used to have a huge crush on "Lita."

Im sick of John "The Second Coming of Hulk Hogan" Cena.

Haha, totally, although it was funny when he was trying to do his good guy routine and people (i.e. anyone over 12 that didn't fancy him) just started to really boo him!

Is the Great Khali still about? He is an abonimation of a wrestler. Gah. I heard they brought back the Big Show, if that's true then surely Khali is redundant. :hehe:

They've turned him face and created this thing called the "Great Kahli kiss cam" where he kisses random people etc.
Its a stupid segment and its kinda ruined his character.
Apparently in his homeland (India) he's a MEGASTAR

The Big Show is back though, he recently feuded up with the Undertaker.

He was a great driver and revolutionised the way Grand Prix drivers raced, but, to be honest, I think he struggled to contain Senna at times. I was watching some past Grands Prix over the past week or so and there were many times that Prost just had no answer to Senna's sheer speed. If it weren't for Senna having more technical problems (some of which, you could say, were caused by Senna pushing the car so hard), the 1989 and '90 championships would not have been quite so close.

Personally im more of a Prost fan than I am of Senna's, but I do agree entirely with what you are saying. However I think this makes Prost such a class act.
It goes back to the old story of the Tortoise and the Hair. Prost was a regular finisher whereas Senna was not. Senna was very noble and very exciting to watch (like you I have delved into a number of youtube races and review videos etc.) a legend. But I think Prost KNEW he wasn't as fast as Ayrton and he admitted this on a number of occasions. So instead he outsmarted him and thought about it - a season ain't over in one race.
Id agree with alot of Senna's problems being because of technical problems, especially when looking at the 1989 season. Prost's actions at Suzuka were not sporting and should never have taken place. The only thing I would defend him on was the stupid wins over points scoring system that was still going to decide the 1989 season. In points terms If Prost had let Senna by at Suzuka and finished second he'd still have more than 9 points, and that would have made him champion. But thanks to the wins rule, it wouldn't have been the case. Prost had spoke out against that ruling, claiming it was rightly used in 1988, however in 1989 it wasn't right. This is very true. Williams and Ferrari had caught up big time.

I don't even know who's in it! A quick look says i'd guess Randy Orton or Triple H....

My brother reckons one half of a certain famous tag team will be back in the WWE tonight as well. Gah, i'll have to avoid the internet until it downloads! :P

Christain, yes. But will he be the one who beat up Jeff Hardy? Or will it be Matt? :O
