especially now that honda have dropped out as well.
and i hate the fact that he also wants to do medals instead of points

what made me laugh even more was Mclaren still beat Ferrari

Ferrari actually bet McLaren as Ferrari won the constructors championship.

I ment lewis hamilton winning the world drivers championship.

I know you meant that, but you delibrately worded it as if McLaren won and Ferrari lost. The reality is McLaren won something in 2008 as did Ferrari, so really it is like no one really bet each other.

thats f***ing disgracefull

Yeah it is bad isn't it? However personally I couldn't really careless. Nothing I can do about it anyways. That is life I guess.

Yeh each team should be paid equally enough said.

F1 does suck when you have w**kers like Luca and Bernie about

Looks like Luca is paying a little bribe money to FIA, Max and race stewards to ensure his extra $80M at seasons end. Spa 08 is a good example, Luca has the money and motivation to cause such a race result.

This is getting sick and out hand! How much do you think this carried over to Spygate or Stepny-Gate last year. I'm sure that had to do with helping Ferrari maintain its dominance. Oh, How things start to get clear...

If I where a team, I would sue Eccelstone (he's talking about suing someones a** off). Does the sporting regulations only apply to the teams, because if not, Ferrari had an unfair advantage over other teams, provided through shady dealings of Ecclestone.

By doing this, Ecclstone defrauded the teams and their sponsors of race wins (opportunity) which equate to exposure, which equate to revenues for the sponsors.

I wonder if he is as iron-clad untouchable as Max

So Ferrari got another 80 mill a year just for showing up - WTF no wonder Kimi's on 51mill a year Bernies paying for him.

Its time for eccelstone to f*** off he has duck up formula one for the fans and is starting to turn it into a laughing stock.

Well, it really shows what a disgusting piece of Vermin Montezemolo is. He criticises the sport's authorities and we think we are getting somewhere, only for it to transpire Ferrari has been getting secret handshakes from Eccelestone. Ferrari are Montezemolo are scum.

From F1 Live:

Ferrari still want revenue discussions

By Jonathan Noble Saturday, December 20th 2008, 13:51 GMT

Ferrari are adamant that the distribution of commercial revenue in Formula One remains a key area for revaluation in the future, despite criticisms directed at their president Luca di Montezemolo by the sport's commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone this morning.

In an interview in The Times, Ecclestone launched an open attack on di Montezemolo who, in his role as chairman of the Formula One Teams' Association (FOTA), had said that teams deserved a larger share of the sport's commercial income.

"In terms of revenue, we want to know more about them," said di Montezemolo earlier this week. "Theoretically, like in other professional sports, like basketball in the USA, we can have a league made by us and appoint a good league manager to run our own business. Because it is our own business.

"We want to know the revenues better so we can decrease the cost of the tickets. Then we have the matter of traditional tracks rather than exotic tracks just because they have a nice skyline. We have to discuss the show. How to promote. I'm not prepared any more to have all this dictated to us by outside without any control."

Those comments did not impress Ecclestone, who felt Ferrari should be the last team to complain because of a special financial package they have as a result of their historical importance to the sport.

Despite Ecclestone's aggressive stance, Ferrari have stuck firm to their belief that a fairer distribution of revenue for teams is essential as the next step in shoring up the future. However, the team are keen not to get involved in a war of words with Ecclestone.

"We have nothing to say about the comments from Mr. Ecclestone that were published in The Times today," said a Ferrari spokesman. "However, the topic of revenue is of the highest importance in F1 at this time."

Yeah, save it, troll. Montezemolo should be deposed as FOTA leader. :vomit:

this is absolutely outragous, teams would get thrown out / punished for less, surely he cannot make a statment like that and survive the backlash from fans and teams, like already said, it clears up some of the decisions on race day by the stewards, i really cannot find the words to express my disapointment right now :banghead:

Bernie is good.

All he has done is decide to fight back at Ferrari by saying the FIA to favour them, adding fuel to the fire. then Bernie sits back and laugh at how the Ferrari name gets pulled through the mud.

Bernie you are indeed a PR Master

We need every F1 fan in the world to unite. If we all pulled together just £1 we could buy out FOM, take control of it and sack Bernie.

This is all old news. The special deal was unofficially leaked at the time already - everybody in or into F1 'knew' or assumed as much. So, to get your knickers in a twist about this is disingenuous or shows lack of understanding how F1/FIA/BE/Ferrari and the other teams work and what the interdependencies are.
It's the same principle as in law enforcement: the first gang member to talk to the prosecutor gets a sweetheart deal. Ferrari signed up with BE as the first team and saved F1 from splitting up by recruiting the rest of the teams due to its weight and importance.

That's just the type of post I'd expect from a Ferrari fan.
