:D

The only issue I have is that Kravitz is going to carry on as a pit-lane reporter. He knows his stuff, yes, but that stunt he pulled in Brazil was a bit of a stupid thing to do and, in general, he seems like a chicken. I wonder if he'll be doing his job in Sao Paulo next year without a protective vest... :hehe:

On the plus-side, Lee McKenzie is far better to look at than Louise Goodman :)

Krazy Kravitz! I would like to see more controversial croud stirring from him like in brazil...

Anyone got a pic of Lee Mckenzie... just so I can see what she looks like?.... 8-)

hmm, then I agree with your statement :)

She's already ten points up and she hasn't even started the job yet.

Favourite Grand Prix circuit: Spa, Monza.

Generally speaking, I'm happy, but I have some reservations. Jake Humphrey knows as much about Formula One as my backside knows about snipe shooting and is as charismatic as street light, and David Coulthard, whilst being experienced and not afraid to say what he feels, has a chip on his shoulder with pretty much every team for whom he's driven. Williams were against him, McLaren were against him. And, as if that's not bad enough, the traction control ban, in his view, was an absolutely lethal measure.

Good news all round then. Maybe not so much Coulthard - but definitely pleased they got Ted Kravitz, Eddie Jordan and Legard. Good news about Murray too, although I think he should have a proper commentating role at the British GP or something.

Anyway, yeah sounds good. Just wish the next couple of months bloody fly by.

Yes, I was also hoping Murray might make a cameo commentary for races like Silverstone. But you never know, remember Murray said "never say never" to a commentating return.

EJ will be a great pundit, but I'm a little worried Coulthard might gurn about McLaren, Nakajima, Montoya, Irvine and co even though some of the names aren't even around. I didn't expect Ted Kravitz to get the pit lane reporter role, he's done his job well and he certainly had some balls when he pulled out the Union Jack at Brazil.

James Hunt wasnt exactly diplomatic when it came to his opinion on drivers and it will be good to have someone who has only recently left the sport (full time at anyrate) Im stoked that Brundle will be back and im sure we will hear the Muddly Talker at Silverstone sooner rather than later

That is a good lineup, although i feel kinda sorry for Louise Goodman considering the fact that she actually did a pretty brilliant job...

I'm really looking forward to EJ and Coulthard's no bull thoughts on everything, about time we regularly heard from people like that on British F1 coverage :D:wink:

DC will bitch about all the guys who beat him, whinge about the drivers he lost his drives to, rubbish the best drivers and the teams he drove for who gave him SUCH a hard time. And he'll know everything about everything and think he's God's gift to TV audiences :vomit:

EJ will be great! :)

Pity only the UK will get to hear from DC and EJ.
I think Coulthard will make a great pundit - he and Eddie will hopefully just take over the airtime and keep that Jake Humpy outta the picture.
As for Legard he has a hard task, but he can do it.
Brundle back will be awesome, and am i the only one who thinks Mckensie is hot? - as I mentioned earlier :p

Big surprise with Ted. AMAZING

Should get Irvine in as well. Just reading about EJ and found this amusing exhange between the 2 at Montreal in '95...

He's left the door open.
"Jesus, EJ," Irvine hollers at him. "Were you born in a field without a gate?"
"What're you on about?" asks Jordan, irritably.
"We all know you were born in a f***ing field," explains Irvine. "We were just wondering whether or not it had a gate on it."
Exchanges like this are clearly not uncommon. Jordan, as he peers into a cupboard at the back of the mobile home, makes a point of looking unruffled.
"Do shut up, Irvine," he says. "And get your f***ing feet off that chair. You've got your feet on every f***ing thing except the ground these days."
Irvine laughs delightedly. "Did you get that on tape? It had a double meaning which, of course, EJ didn't twig."
"No, you're right," mutters Jordan, as he leaves. "It flew right over my head, because I'm a f***ing dipstick fenian southern Irish bar steward mad enough to employ a f***ing protestant northern *censored*."
"Cheers, EJ," Irvine calls after him. "Now shut the f***ing door behind you."
