That is really a shame but I'm sure you can find some video's. :)

Prodrive havnt said 'No' to 2009 yet have they...

F1 needs a full grid, but maybe it wont happen for a while :(

they have to build their own chassis in 2009 dont they? same for STR isnt that rule being enforced on Redbull?

Prodrive will only enter F1 if they get a complete customer car.

I thought I read somewhere it's for 2010.

thats possible, its either 09 or 10

I though Prodrive were close to inking a Mclaren Deal - Now that Mclaren are supplying Force India will they still want to supply Prodrive if they get going??

They may have to under the new rules or Prodirve/Aston Martin will just get a cosworth

wat about a lambohghini team :)

There once was a Lambo team sorta and they were Team Modena (Modena Team) and used the very powerful Lambo V12.

Apart from the funny shaped sidepods, that was quite a good looking car, and came ever so agonisingly close to scoring World Championship points. Shame it was only around for 1991 though.

As I recall the Lambo engine was absurdly heavy and physically huge though.

Yes it was but it's power more than made up for it's shortcoming's. McLaren actually tested the engine in the MP4-8 'hybrid' and Senna wanted to use it but Ron went with the Peugeot instead and Senna quit soon afterwards.

The Lamborghini engine was definitely more powerful. I think the MP4/8 turned out to be two seconds a lap faster with it. The MP4/8 was really a great chassis. It's a pity it never got the engine it deserved. It looked very nice as well.

Seeing Senna in that 1994 McLaren makes me feel kind of uneasy... like what might (or rather might not) have happened had he stayed and raced it after testing... :(

yeh such is life eh, you could say if ron had said ok to the lambo engine then he might of been still with us today.

What baffles me is why Ron went with the Pegeout even though it was blatantly obvious that the Lamborghini V12 was a better option.
