If the current gradient was a problem, could they construct new banking nearby which fits safety standards and the cars' designs?
Make the cars adapt, not the track
With all the cost cutting measures, not likely to happen.
But I would love to see not necessarily heavy banking like that, but just more tracks with elevation changes and long turns. All these new tracks, Valencia, the middle eastern ones, Singapore are in the city and relatively flat. Monaco even has some nice elevation changes not to mention Spa. Its not just about run and gun as it is on these new Tilke tracks, its more about finesse and control if you are going to standardize cars so much.
