Weird? I never saw anything weird with the FW28/29 or 30...

But definately the FW26, that thing was a HORROR until they ditched the Whalrus nose with the FW26B.

granted on the FW28 and 29 but last years, I thought looked weird at first sight during a race because the top element of the front wing was white and the rest was dark blue and camouflaged with the rest of the car making it look like the whole front wing was really high. maybe just me. I liked the FW30 though dont get me wrong. And I think williams have had some decent liveries of late. much better than the BMW one and the mess of 1998

hmmm the rear wing looks about as bad as i imagined, the front looks a lot worse i'd grown to like all the weird bolt on bits that the cars had this year. I guess we'll get used to it after a while. Couldn't they make the rules so that the rear wing is the same width as the old one, but just limit the thickness to reduce downforce if that's what they're going for?

edit : i guess the narrower wing reduces turbulance off the back of the car and hence makes it easier to follow

read the 09 regs the 2009 wing angle of attack can be adjusted by the driver

i doubt it will be flapping about either and it would be impossible to tell without it moving.

Those are old photos, the rear wing doesn't look right because it's plastered onto the back of the 2008 FW30, it looks a little more at Home on the FW30B with the new beefy front wing and will probably look even less anonymous when the cars are "cleaned up".

True enough. Still looks like someone just threw some s*** at a wall and came up with that. I'll kick and scream until I grow used to it and probably even grow to like in time. But for now I'm pouting.
