Mclaren should forget the appeal and take it on the chin cos the FIA are`nt going to change there mind.
they don`t want this still going on with Monza just day`s away.
They must just focus on winning there.....

on a lighter note coral bookmakers paid out on first over the finish line so i am a little happier then i was last night.

the rules say you have to slow down and let your opponant fully overtake..

and hang on youre saying Kimi was faster because he took the corner properly so in saying that Lewis cutting the corner was a disadvantage if Kimi was faster??

I think it is not a Ferrari supporter who made this comment. Maybe fake. However I do not support the petition either as it will achieve nithing as do most petitions. It angers me that Lewis Hamilton span about 1000 times at the end and didn;t hit nothing and managed to win. It would of been nice if Kimi could of not hit the wall and got second. The amount of luck that Lewis Hamilton has is beyond a joke. Anyway enough said because as it stands now Lewis Hamilton isn't the winner anymore anyway and my prefered 2008 world champion candiate Massa is.

I know McLaren have this data, but it wont matter of the FIA don't want McLaren to win. Honestly although the penalty is wrong, I don't believe Lewis Hamilton's/McLaren's appeal will be successful. The FIA wants another Ferrari winning year and will make it happen if Lewis Hamilton/McLaren do not stop trying to get ahead. It seems the FIA want McLaren to continue to pay this year as well for the scandal of 2007. Oh well it doesn't bother me in reality. I'll just accept the win if given. If not then I am sure Massa who is better can come back or for once luck will go against Lewis Hamilton and he doesn't finish a couple of races as well.

I could say something as stupid as you and say that God barricks for Ferrari, but I won't go down that stupid path. Bud the penalty was wrong, I agree with you. But if the FIA wants to help Ferrari, how can that be my fault. It isn't like Ferrari's supporters actually have a say on what happens. I have as much say in this matter as you do. Btw I wasn't aware of the penalty until this morning. I switched the TV off as soon as Lewis Hamilton has won in anger. My father had to call me from Slovenija this morning to tell me the news otherwise I wouldn't of known probably not at all as I would of refused to visit any F1 sites in anger. I was surprised anyway when I got the news as I expected no penalty so once again don't bame me for what has happened as it is not in my hands.

theyve got evidense he was slower but not that he was slowing down... and cutting a corner is an advantage because he got ahead

and anyway doesnt the whole of the opponants car have to overtake?

no need to get hot headed bud. with all the rulebending that goes on involving a silver car and a red car, if you carry on taking a agressive stand on peoples views your gonna get a heart attack mate. Im obviously not the only one who thinks this otherwise hamilton wouldnt of got penalised.
