Mosley writes to FIA club Presidents

31/07/2008

FIA President Max Mosley has today sent the following letter to all the FIA club Presidents:

Dear President

Further to my letters of 1 April and 16 May and the General Assembly of 3 June, you may have gathered that the English High Court found conclusively in my favour. The judge gave a very clear decision that the "Nazi" allegation had no basis in fact and was quite simply invented by the newspaper. The court thus fully confirmed Mr Scrivener's report to the General Assembly. The judge also awarded record damages for a case of this kind. When the damages arrive, my lawyers will send them, as promised, straight to the FIA Foundation.

As you may know, although what the newspaper did is a civil matter in England, it is criminal in other countries, notably France, Germany and Italy. A complaint has been made to the relevant public authorities and I anticipate action in the near future. In each case it is possible to join a civil complaint to the criminal proceedings and my lawyers intend to do this. Again, any damages recovered will be given to a suitable charity.

Once more I should like to say how sorry I am for the annoyance and embarrassment this matter has caused. I hope that, ultimately, bringing to justice those responsible will mitigate the effects and, above all, deter others from such gross invasions of privacy.

Thank you very much for your support and understanding in what has been a difficult time.

Yours sincerely

Max Mosley

Yes, it was embarassing and although he's doing fine with his justice war and even giving money to charity, the damage has been done. :headshake:

Doesn't sound too sorry for what he's done does he, just p!ssed off at being caught  And out to 'get' whoever did this evil deed to him. Things don't change there then!

If there's one thing Mosley has totally forgotten - whilst he was out there desperately trying to "proove" that no Nazi references were involved - it's the fact he was having all this umpalumpa business behind his wife's back which is just as bad as the Nazi references. What's his excuse for that?

His excuse is- 'someone caught me-how dare they!!' In his eyes if you don't get caught, you're innocent.

My thoughts exactly. He did something which does not befit a family man and a public figure in charge. He brought bad name on himself as the president of FIA, the Nazi allegations (untrue now) were just a bonus. It's good that he decided to resign, yet only next year.

It's a bad example he's setting too. I suppose in his view it's cool to just ditch your wife or girlfriend for the day, go to a brothel and get whipped. Mind you I know of people who get girlfriends and then just treat them like crap and then they go out and chat up and shag "fat birds".

Mosley has to go. End of story. As 7Up said, even if Mosley was not having a Nazi orgy, he was still having an orgy with prostitutes behind the backs of his family members. This is simply not befitting of a man in his position.

That's a private matter, the wife cheating part. Monogamy is a figment, a social construct that isn't even universally accepted - many societies don't adhere to it. There are also (physical) anthropological reasons to stipulate that the NATURAL societal structure for humans is actually multi-male multi-female, basically a free for all, everybody with everybody.
Besides, how in the world could the oldest profession survive for so long had it not been for millions of men (and women) cheating on their partners? :whip::twisted:
C'mon, they've been married for 50 years - a bit extramarital fun could well reinvigorate their own schmexlives. And who's to say his wife is not on the prowl herself, eh? Maybe she even told him to find that kind of amusement somewhere else because her arthritis doesn't allow for such escapades... :yikes:

ive just read that the apartment was actually owned by Max.

Still the Honourable thing for Max to do was to stand down until the matter was sorted in court and retake his position if he was found credible instead of dragging F1 in the gutter just to cure his dirtied name!

Its quite clear Max is only and always out for himself! for someone who cannot take the vowels of Marriage with any Honour how can we trust him running the FIA?
Again that word comes up Honour, it seems something Max has little of!

As Max Mosley he can do whatever he wants and no one would care, but as the president of the FIA he shouldn't. He can have his escapades when he resigns.
