Weren't they the only team that decided to stay on used intermediates? That was a though call, but they could play it safe. Besides, it didn't look like the sky was suddenly going to clear - the black clouds could be seen even on TV. Even with that mistake Kimi did well enough to get to 4th place, Massa though not so well.

I would agree with Mclaren_Fan, if Mclaren have a s*** race and make turns of errors, christ their are tons of posts claiming they suck bla bla, but when Ferrari make not one but several mistakes in that race, its just pushed to the side. Massa had a awful race, just shows that he can't hack it under pressure and his hand signal to Glock, he obviously couldn't handle the fact that a Toyota was in his way, he was slowing him down and didn't let him pass straight off, I would of been pissed too if I was Timo.
As for Kimi, bad mistake from the team deciding to keep him on the same tyre, though I suppose it was  for me

I think Alonso was kept on them too.

Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say. Nobody on this forum has even mentioned that Ferrari had a s*** race and it was their own fault. Not one single thread or post about it. How inconsistent... :banghead:

Ferrarilamb63 you have been here for 1 day how would you know what has been said whenever McLaren had a bad race? The forum traffic doubles whenever theres a mistake by Lewis and McLaren all the "arm chair experts" (great comment Ron) come out and talk s***!

As for Ferrari admitting they duck up? well no s*** it was there for the whole world to see, its not like they can hide anything.

You have no idea what hanwombat is talking about buddy,
Ferrari screwed up monumentally its the first race you really saw them flounder after Ross Brawn left, I dont think i have ever seen a title contender spin that much in one race, god knows if it was lewis there would be so many pple baying for his blood.
Ferrari should be asking some serious questions from their strategy team after that race, when you are fighting for championships you cant afford to have both your drivers lapped by their major contendor it just looks so bad

It's quite clear. He/She's claiming double standards because McLaren and McLaren drivers are roundly criticised when they f'up, and s/he's claiming that similar errors by Ferrari just get "pushed to the side". This is a completely ridiculous claim given the great openness and honest admissions of the f'up by all involved.

Everybody admits to this and are asking questions. It's people like you and Hanwombat who are screwing up their eyes and deliberately ignoring the honesty and openness about Ferrari's dreadful performance this weekend because it doesn't fit your view of Ferrari "lambs". Perhaps it's because Ferrari fans and Ferrari itself have been revealed as more objective, even handed, and honest than fans of certain other teams. Feeling a bit shown up?

No not at all because you havent read a lot of posts on this forum, im sure (and i mean no disrespect to these pple) that there are quite a few Ferrari fans on here that would never call themselves 'even handed' if you stopped and got off your high horse and read some of the threads you would know exactly what Hanwombat was talking about.
Ferrari are not 'open and honest' as you put it, every team would have admitted they screwed up. They are as open and honest as any other team on the grid ie not at all. If you belive that Ferrari are somehow the epitomy of morallity on the F1 grid then i suggest you do some reading into the history of the sport

Really MF
I don't see any of the USUAL SUSPECTS blaming anyone but the team.

And more to the point the team and the drivers seem to agree.
Now compare this with how another team, drivers & fans's react and then come and see me mate.
Keep fishing mate you might convince yourself one day :bs:

No conspiracy's, No FIA bias, No Driver's unable to admit when they FU

On a couple of occasions when McLaren made a strategic decision, some people on this forum seriously suggested that Ron Dennis et al. were out of their depth and should resign. Ferrari have made their own cock-ups throughout the ages, even a few major gaffes with Ross Brawn at the helm, but I don't hear too much criticisms, let alone calls for staff to resign!

McLaren have admitted their mistakes in terms of strategy etc., but all the team gets is the same old rubbish about McLaren losing the plot, Ron Dennis being off his rocker etc.. Ferrari, however, make a similar apology, but the matter stops there: mistakes were made, the team will move on from them and they won't happen again. End of. Nobody has said that Luca Baldisseri has lost his mind.

Actually my migrain is due to all the Ferrari fan's bs, Lewis dominated and deserved the win.

Fair enough. I'm just happy McLaren got the win, but disappointed with Kovalainen's performance. He should have got a podium at the very least. I'm still not certain that McLaren's mid-season development will win the constructors' championship that I so badly want for the team, but all the team can do is try. At least we're in the mix for the drivers' title. :)

You've been here 1 day, how would you know whether errors by Ferrari get pushed to the side? Typical Ferrari lamb bs is what I've been reading from you.
