A great driver from Kubica, although I was a little surprised to see Heidfeld let him by so easily. That said, Kubica has been the faster driver all weekend and all season.

good for him,. if heikki hadn't of bleedin; pitted he would of been furthur up than 9th

It wasn't his fault. He was most likely instructed to go for a splash and dash and a set of fresh tyres in anticipation of the safety car that, in all honesty, was expected by everyone.

Great drive for Kubica and a BMW 1-2. But I'm pretty pissed with Hamilton's stupid mistake which messed up Nico's race too. At least Kimi got what was coming to him after what he did to Sutil the other week.

Totally disagree. It's much easier to see a flashing red light that you should be keeping an eye on when the safety car is out than it is a slightly damp patch of a track.

I'm happy for Robert, Nick and BMW Sauber. This was one of the two races I had pinned for their maiden victory and it was quite exciting all the way through. Happy for Rubens as well, though I really thought he was going to hold on to fourth place. And, of course, DC. He must be terribly pleased with himself for pulling that off.

Well I'm pretty sure Heidfeld did it on purpose because he was heavy on fuel and he would have been holding him up.

That's from walking along a stretch of tarmac and barely being able to see a damp patch in cloudy conditions. Now try doing the same when you can barely see any of the track immediately around you whilst travelling at much more than my walking pace. It's common sense, really.

I know he did it on purpose, but he must have felt he was at least in with a chance, and seeing his teammate punish him once again can't be too pleasant. Have you changed your signature yet, by the way, Rivelution? 8)

Would you like to explain that it would be otherwise? I'm always up for reading through theories on this kind of thing.

Fantastic drive by Kubica. I've been a big fan of this guy since he emerge on Fridays. I don't think this years title is on for him, but many in the future should be.
Overall he really has outdriven the likes of Hamilton, who had a terrible day!

Was it just me or was Heidfeld pissed off?

Kubica is a brilliant driver. He's not a wimp or a pretty boy like most younger drivers you see now, but a good honest racer. Formula One needs more like him. As for Heidfeld, I think he felt he could have won it and is annoyed at not just having been beaten again by his teammate, but at having seen him get the team's maiden victory.

I sure did! 8)

Good stuff. Here's hoping that BMW and Kubica do well in the future, but hopefully not well enough to diminish McLaren's success.
