The plot thickens...

"Among those most likely not to make the switch to the BBC are the lead commentator James Allen and the pitlane reporter Louise Goodman. However the summariser and former racing driver Martin Brundle is thought likely to stay on and work with a new man from the BBC. Among the names in the hat from the BBC for that role are David Croft, the current Formula One commentator on BBC Radio Five Live and his predecessor, Jonathan Legard, who now covers football for Radio Five. Another possibility is that Brundle himself takes over the main commentary role and works alongside a new summariser. "

And...

"Commentator Murray Walker, 84, and the iconic theme tune The Chain are set to play their part as the BBC attempts to revive a golden era of Grand Prix broadcasting. Walker is expected to make guest appearances behind the microphone at races such as the British Grand Prix. "

"Roger Mosey, BBC director of sport, hinted that Jeremy Clarkson and the Top Gear crew might become involved with coverage. "

What about their MOTD team? Lineker isn't going to be busy in 2009 because there is no football on the BBC and Alan Hansen will make a great strategic analysis! :D

No no no, please not the MOTD team, John Motson and Mark Lawresnson are actually worse than 2 James Allen's combined, I mean how difficult is it to say "Kilgallon"? They'd be struggling with Kubica and Fisichella. Shearer would just drone on, he'd probably be better interviewing Raikkonen.

youve got to keep martin brundle because he does it so well and then build a team around him, louise goodman isnt bbc material and for james allen he is getting better at his job but is he bbc material i think he will be and ted kravitz i do like him but bbc might have their own plans lets see and the good thing is no f****** adverts and the style that the bbc bring to anything they do on sc :D reen. what a touch.
