why does Newey wear Redbull racing gear then?

I read too much into these things. Apparently, they have their cars designed by RBT to get around the rules that say teams can't use a car designed by another team. Since neither RBR nor STR designed the car, they're sort of in the clear. But I think the rules should be re-worded.

Newey is supposed to work for Red Bull Technology as well. That way he can design the chassis for both RBR and STR without it being classed as customer cars.

even then isnt that technically incorrect according to the rules? teams are meant to design their own cars so Redbull technology being a third party would mean Redbull racing and Torro Rosso are both customers and that means they arent constructors.

Exactly, and that's why I always mention Red Bull when people are having a go at STR and Super Aguri
