I used to be a Button fan, but in the years he's been around the sport he always seems to hark on about how bad his cars were, never admitting fault with his driving. He might be smooth, but he's not aggressive enough to run at the front.

Hehe, he used to be a much better playboy than he is these days. I'm not saying he's a bad driver, far from it. He's brilliantly smooth and consistant, but not champ material. He's too quick to blame the car, admit defeat, and give up.

No no, J has not had good cars, thats a fact. He usually out drives his teamate, and, as another thread says, Barrichelo is no slouch, but this prooves that thr car is fundamentaly flawed, especially last years, and J has fought tooth and nail to either overtake or defend a position. I dont think that Honda will get it right this year but net year the Brawn effect will apply and I look foward to better performances from Honda, and, therefore Button. Its a team sport, no one can shine unless the whole team is shinning. It is true that some drivers are very good at car development (F.A., M.S,and others) and I am not sure about Js performance in this aspect. The driver is an important factor in the overall development of the car.

Totally agree. Every time you see Button being interviewed on the television or the papers he is always so negative about the car, the team, the conditions; nothing is ever his fault.
