No Bud Ferrari did not become Fiat. Most likely because Ferrari's history and hertiage is much, much greater than that of pissy little Fiat. On the otherhand the history and hertiage of Mercedes-Benz is greater and richer than that of Ferrari and would completly dawf the little tiny so called hertiage McLaren has, so why would Mercedes want to retain the inferior McLaren name instead of using their own, once the inevitable takeover finally occurs?
Umm Madbrad I just noticed something. You wrote thsi right?
It's spelt IMMINENT. I don't mind spelling errors but it looks bad for you when it's in the title.
My thread heading says : End of McLaren is Imminent.........
I actually spelt it right! Also Imminent = Imminente in Italian (Just drop the "e" for in English).

McLaren fan don't get upset if you don't like what I have got to say. It is not like I am making that stuff up anyways. It is true. Mercedes has much more hertiage than Ferrari who in turn has more than McLaren. Fiat are known for everyday get around cars. Ferrari is known for fast cars and successful winning racing cars. Why would Fiat want to call Ferrari Fiat after they bought it? It would be dumb to do it and that is why they have not. Mercedes on the other hand has the history dating back to the first Benz petrol road car in 1886. They are know for great road cars, luxury cars, sport cars, GTs etc etc etc and have a long and very successful race history in GP racing and other motorsports. McLaren is only known to the F1 world. Yes they made a road car but even that had a BMW engine. I mean what gives? Mercedes would be very wise to call a fully acquired McLaren team into Mercedes for it's hertiage is unsurpassed by few or none. Not even Ferrari. This is my opinion McLaren Fan. If you don't like it then state your opinion and stick to the topic and stop this "I am a disgrace/ban this woman crap" as it is not nice and is irrelvant to my very valid opinion regarding this topic.
