What I'd give to see some of the legendary F1 teams revived. Brabham and Lotus are still possible to be revived because Proton own Lotus, and the company that ran the Brabham team "Motor Racing Developments Ltd" are still trading. Also they could in effect use their own engine if you think about it because Sir Jack also set up "Engine Developments Ltd" with John Judd, who produced the Judd V8 engines first seen in 1988.

I'm fairly sure that Proton owns only Lotus Engineering which produces the road cars and does engine development, I am sure that the F1 operation was a seperate company that Proton has no control over. You're right though it would be great to see the old name sback - remember BRM?
