Fair enough. I'm not saying, by the way, people cannot be passionate about their teams, but, for some, slightly less arrogance and little more realism would be welcome the world over.

You put far too much pressure on your teams by overstating their chances and, when you actually do win something for the first time in ages, never shut up about it.

But I know what you mean - we're still harping on about winning the football in '66. You'd think we (as a nation) would have got over it by now
