Uh, my interpretation or read of it is actually the more obvious. Your 'of course' would require prior knowledge of what happened to her to be interpreted the way YOU want it to sound. If one didn't know about that crash (which I admit I didn't) then your wording sounds indeed related to your judgment of her driving skills or even worse to the fact she's a woman. If your intention WAS to be ambiguous, then don't be surprised if people take issue. If your intentions were far from it, then be more careful in choosing your words.

many of you woul dthink that i support Vito (liuzzi) just because he's italian...
well..this is a reasonbut i also think he's a good talent, he will never become a champion, but i'd put him on the same level of DC...the DC of the first years obviously, not the DC of these times..
