Alonso was brought in to win. That's for sure. But in an even situation, they support Lewis.

Plus, if Ron Dennis said himself that the 100 Million fine was pocket change, then 76 Million in 5 years to Alonso must be... hmm I need a dictionary. Not to mention having the World champion onboard brings in some sponsor money so they have to come up with actually less than $76/5 years.

$15.20 a year is still too much considering the aggravation he's caused!

Once again, please tell me how is Ron Dennis or McLaren helping Lewis over Alonso? As a team boss he have provided them with equal cars, Lewis car isn't better then Alonso. I am really sick of the Lewis bashing it's getting boring now. If Alonso had cost another team $100 million he would be out of a job.

This year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year is pretty much a foregone conclusion, as is any other British sporting-achievement-for-the-year type award. I can't think of another British sportsman who's done anything this year, and Lewis has had a fantastic year. Nobody can argue with that.

Just BBC's sport personality of the year??
I think Sport personality of the Year period. A rookie F1 Champion?! that's insane.

He's had the ability, the car and the luck of a champion.

Still hoping for Kimi to beat him though... it was a really weird thing what happened with the Ferrari tyres, but still part of racing... had this not happened however, maybe my Fuji prediction would have come true?

Sick of the "lewis bashing???" I'm a fan of lewis too, but YOU seem to be bashing FA with just about every single post you've put on here!!!

BBC sports personality was pretty much assured once LH won in Canada, i think lewis is pretty much up for most public awards this year.. F1 magazine british and international racing driver awards, autosport awards and many other international awards... he has worked so hard and deserved everything he's managed, and left FA in his wake...Lewsi will be a truly worthy champ this year (as long as his car stays reliable) and FA, despite the bitching all year, will be a deserved second and will have to admit to being beaten by the better man..

i'd hope FA would stay for another year, but then i worry that we'd have more of the same, with his bitching continuing all through next year...

Lewis just cross the line before Alonso, and you will have won the WDC. Just bring it home
