With the discovery of the flexi wing someone decided to do what the FIA wouldn't.

It is terrible as much as I think Red Bull are crooked, no intention of pun, but why do people who steal like these exist? I could go ranting...In fact, I might create a thread because...I hate this world

I hear you Liam, its like the :censored: who hunt animals for sport and not food.

But this RBR robbery stinks to the high heavens, something well fishy about it

First of all, like someone said earlier, you couldnt resell them, they are not worth much for the metals. So why would some one plan an elaborate robbery for something thats not financial but sentimental?

Therefore the finger must point at someone wanting them for sentimental and not monetary reasons, which brings us nicely back to RBR and someone feeling attached to them

Mr Adrian Newey, obviously left RBR, not on best friend terms, we see this by the nature of the schedule of his leaving. First last year we heard lots about sailing, then Ainsley comes begging him to join, He apparently says no, he has a committment to RBR, then suddenly Adrian, not RBR are telling us he wants to take a step back and do other things, then finally we hear that he is teaming up with Ainsley barely a months after he was apporached and in time to have helped design Britains entry next summer

So my dear Watson, we can eliminate a pro thief, we must look at the team, it would be someone not staying next year because of the timing (after the season), so the suspects are those leaving this year
Seb wouldnt steal the trophies, who else left? who else could possibly attach sentimental value to ALL the teams wins for the last 5 years?

Mr Adrian Newey - I take my hat off to you, theres maybe been some dispute with the odious Horner amd someone arrived at night to collect whats 'his' and the night staff couldnt say no/didnt know what to do, which is why the someone picked the time he did. Now when we think back to how Adrian left McLaren and Williams........

And i didnt see any evidence of a physical break in anywhere, and the statement was cleverly worded to say a 4x4 'broke' in 'through' the entrance, maybe didnt actually crash thru like some of the more excitable press are saying

So maybe not a robbery, maybe more a dispute between the two, and maybe cleverly solved by Adrian deploying the old adage - 'Possession is 9/10ths of the law'

So maybe Horner got screwed again

That is not only potentially libelous but also the most :bs: post I have seen from you, and that is saying a lot!
#429162
What does potentially libelous mean exactly? Its either libelous or it isnt, theres no fantasy lounge stuff here

perhaps you could point out the libelous part, after you point out where I claim its anything but a half jokey speculation, just like a several others, except I like to go into detail and make long posts - always based on the available facts and always looking for angles, and therefore uncomfortable to those who dont understand or are trained to protect the status quo

So instead of the 1 line hit and run shallowness, add something of interest or maybe dont add at all
#429163
Really, I see no hint of you joking (clearly thats your excuse now someone has brought you up on it) and for you to accuse Newey of actually considering something like that is the libelous part.

And Newey is still employed by Red Bull FACT. Ainslie is working with Red Bull for his sailing campaign FACT

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/sailing/30336834

Newey will be doing both his new role as design advisor/mentor AND helping Ainslie out FACT!

Also, just because you write a load of crap everytime you post doesnt mean those who choose to write a 1 line opinion have any less intelligence. Its just that (unlike you it appears) some of us gave a life to live rather than being a troll or a wind up merchant (I still havent decided which)!
#429164
 I thought you were gonna show us the libelous part - i.e outline the part that has upset you - its not enough to 'feel' I am out of line - you gotta show how.

Yes Newey is employed by Red Bull, and Red Bull have many separate divisions with different staff, and so if there was a fall out with Horner like I suggested then the fact that he is now to represent Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) and not Red Bull Racing (RBR) kinda supports my speculation

Anyway, you accuse someone of libel;, but cant prove it, you are not sure if someone is trolling or winding you up, yet you are frustrated that the stuff I post, which unsettles you, but you are unable to shut me up in debate and so your objection is delivered in a 1 line opinion because you have a real life?

I suggest you either stop getting hot and bothered about my posts, or simply stop me making them by demonstrating how they are not worthy of debate - if your busy life give you the time to debate within the rules ofcourse

otherwise, continue to object from a safe distance

Yes, you are right, the whole thing is just 'right' they are what defines this epoch, daft but sincere Toto, mad but principled Niki, shy but genius like Andy, tough as :censored: but sensitive Lewis, humble but clever paddy They are all touched by karma
Aldo Costa, Nico, - all of them are like the A Team with BA Baracus - outcasted by other teams, convicted of a crime they didnt commit, but they stuck to thier guns, built a monster in a shed out of a few milk bottles and are now back to stomp on the sorry bottoms of the expertz

Would I be cynical if I said Seb was the getaway driver lol

Seb drives Infiniti or maybe Ferrari now. Following the evidence the trail leads to Merc!

“Two cars were involved in the burglary. A silver 4x4 which was used to drive through the entrance and a further dark coloured, black or dark blue Mercedes estate car. Both are believed to have foreign number plates."

I've had enough to be honest. You are either an idiot or a troll. If someone disagrees with you then they are automatically wrong. Well i've had enough although sadly the mods/admins seem happy to have you slagging off everyone who doesnt state their love and admiration for Hamilton.

Its a shame that after posting on here for quite a few years now (on and off) I feel that I cannot be part of this community without being ripped into everytime you disagree. Its not even worth trying to prove points to you because you manipulate every word in a way that supports you and makes the other person out to be stupid.

Also, I have noticed that most people that isnt a Hamilton lover has left - I wonder why.....

Hey, I'm still here and I'm not what you'd call "a Hamilton lover"! I'm one of the few folk still flying the flag for McLaren!!! :P:hehe::blush:

I dont object to your right to post the crap you or the other mythical F1 fans come out with,i just disagree and demonstrate why, but you guys seem to enjoy raising objections to mine that you cant follow through, leading to the Mea Culpa or hopefully in your case flouncing off into the sunset

lurkers will come off the sidelines to replace you, because thats how forums work, it s how they worked for hundreds of years - a small number of members create the most noise, and its never to everyones liking and its never permanent, instead there is always change, people get stirred to come off the sidelines and have a say, then others etc etc

so, some come off the sidelines to have a say, and there are always the b!tches on the sidelines who moan that things are not to their liking, instead of MAKING things to their liking

so dont disappoint us and keep coming back to tell us how you dont like it because you find it hard to ignore those you cant manipulate into shutting up by the various lame methods such as (shock horror!!) accuse them of being somehow wrong in expressing freedom of speech

anyways bye bye, and dont forget you dont have to come back to remind us you left

Also, I have noticed that most people that isnt a Hamilton lover has left - I wonder why.....

Lots of them were Vettel aficionados, and it was easier to leave than face the embarrassment of the season. There's also been quite a few Hamilton, well how should I put it, more than detractors that got called out for the theories about lack of intelligence etc, and they couldn't bear see the guy resoundingly win and even coming from behind twice to get that resounding win.

Then there are a couple of Ferrari fans that more than likely spending time at their therapist or taking antidepressants... I think that's a fair representation and answers your question, yes?

Ha cooking the comedian returns. Using the word debate.

Who exactly are you expecting Ferrari man to debate with? You?! ha.
#429191
He could debate with you and other 1 line hit and run knowledge overloaders

Maybe debate how each team modify their own engines from race to race to save money or how MS designed the split turbo layout or even how engine reg changes will make teams spend less

you hit the nail on the head in lalaland

This is so funny, a comment on the Saward article about the 'robbery'

Major William Brown, US Army (Ret)
Why didn’t the guards shoot them? I suspect they were not from England, but perhaps from the Middle East where some rich person will display them in secret for his enjoyment. Another option would be a sort of terror attack at the foundation of what makes English sport tick- auto racing. I smell a rat here. If the security guards were not armed, then tell me what good are they? This is private, personal property and the English must understand that they have the God-given right to defend themselves and their property.

This is England. We don’t walk around with guns

Nor do you blame people “from the Middle East” for everything bad that happens, or see terrorists lurking in every corner. Thank you for remaining sane.

I suspect the comment may have been ‘satire’…

I suspect you may be right, but if so then it’s failed in that it has no context to the event. Just reeling out some cardboard cutout gun loving American stereotype in a story that has no relation to it, and in the comments section of an F1 journalist’s blog? It’s only ever going to be taken out of context by anyone reading it. This is a story about a break in at an F1 team, not about guns, the right to defend a property or shooting people.

On what insane planet do you think it is justified to shoot people (potential lethally) over a bunch of racing trophies?

on December 6, 2014 at 11:15 pm | Replymilkboy
I really can’t tell if you are being serious or not. If not, excellent comment.

on December 7, 2014 at 12:11 am | ReplyMajor William Irvine Brown
10 or more years ago I would have been kidding and perhaps my comment about shooting was ill-advised. However, I think England, France, Belgium and other countries, including my own, have their heads in the ground when it comes to protecting themselves and their property. The London and Paris police can’t even defend themselves in many cases nor will they go in certain neighborhoods to do their duty for fear of being shot. The idea that two cars would drive in through a building and steal trophies for metal makes little sense to me; too easy to get similar metal through other means. Sounds very planned and evidently well executed. The UK is on the hit-list big time and my own country’s constant meddling in the business of others is largely responsible for the turmoil the world is in. I simply cannot rule out a terrorist meaning behind all this. I applaud the English sense of decency and proper behavior, but that is now rather archaic thinking that others who have immigrated to the UK don’t necessarily have and follow. They know it our collective weak point. I have many good friends in the UK and my heart and blood is from Scotland, Ireland and England. I know most of its best drivers and many are my friends. One good friend and a living legend in sports cars lives in the US now because he “can’t recognize my own country any more”. I do pray that this will prove to be nothing truly sinister and apologize for getting anyone overly bothered. Some things may not be worth dying for, but bad people always know that and exploit it. As for me and my house…..

That’s enough of that. Thanks. Let’s keep it F1 please.

Oh, wonderful. Thank you for for embarrassing America by reinforcing the gun-lovin’, Middle East-hatin’ good ‘ol boy American stereotype. And we wonder why the rest of the planet hates us…

Yes, those poor Middle Eastern billionaires who would not think for a second in spending a million pounds on a piece of furniture….they would be the first people that you would suspect of organising a ram raid.
