RC, I kind of like it when you post scantily clad pictures of yourself.

Are you saying we should all do the same?

What do "we" need to fit into? :P

I mean the fact you ( A Lewis fan) admit you post a lot in the Jenson thread when you obviously don't like him says it all.

Says it all? Says what? Anyone can post in any thread. I mentioned those two threads because they're the two locked ones. But I post in others, McLaren, Mercedes and the Roscoe thread :D to name but three. I don't go into the Jenson thread and start attacking posters who disagree with me....and that's the issue here.

Maybe we need a Roscoe in every thread to remind us of the rules? Image

People just need to be respectful of others opinions and views.

Instead of replying hatefully about something you disagree with reply either constructively and respectfully or don't reply and learn to bite your tongue.

Well said RyRy - as long as we show respect, we can discuss with vigor
Well done sagi - showing that you not only respect, but you can find good to compliment those you are often at odds with
Congrats RC - spot on with this topic
Great idea wb - we can always use more scantily clad pics
Other good comments here too - well done for those as well

He funny part in all this is that some people are so hypocritical about what they have posted in this thread.

Let's just post our opinions on these subjects and move on.

So in a thread that is a plea for all to accept others opinions, some opinions can be said to be hypocritical instead of being accepted for what they are. And we should just post our opinions and move on, even if ofcourse they are in the opinion of some hypocritical
So lets post our opinions on others opinions and move on, before this becomes a circular discussion on the validity of some of the opinions to prevent hypocrisy

I meant in other threads we should just post our thoughts and opinions and then move in if people disagree they disagree.

Completely agree. If they dont agree however they should give a valid reason or ignore, instead of a one line ridiculerisation (this is all Rons fault for being back) :D

I want to personally thank you CookinFlat6 for having the chutzpah of even attempting the use of the word? "ridiculerisation" :hehe:

So Sagi, its good to have your enthusiasm for F1 around. And it would be good if you limited that to F1 and not the members or types of members or certain members. Partisanship is a 2 way street, and so if we are partial to one driver/team, then we need to be wary of pointing out others because by definition their perceptions WILL be at odds with yours. But its not a competition amongst us the fans but amongst the teams and drivers

For example singling Hammer out to about 'loyalty/tag team partner' is to miss the point that his perception might me in tune with mine and not yours, but that does not mean he is being loyal or partisanilising (Rons speak) as that implies he does not have his own views but that of a collective (like the Tifosi) and is therefore classed as an ad hominem statement which I am sure you did not mean at all
One for Hammer:

I applaud you for your sense of loyalty to Cookin, even if it makes you look like his tag-team partner, at times!!

I particularly like your sense of humour, which I think would make you a great person to have a coffee with!!
((Or tea, even!!))

Out of respect for RC and her intention, I'll suggest you go fishing with someone else!

I think loyalty might not be accurate...we seem to share many similar opinions and also our approach to thinking about things. I'll readily admit he expresses his thoughts better than me though.

I don't do tea. But coffee is good, anytime...just don't talk about Ferrari with me. :D
