Not sure where to post this. It's about noses. About Ferrari and Mercedes noses, especially Mercedes noses.

"Nico Rosberg, the only driver on track at the moment, has become the first driver this week to rack up 50+ laps in a day, the German now into his 57th tour and lapping in the high 1:27s-low 1:28s."

Front wing aside, this team's built a strong car L&G.

The livery for the W05 got less ugly this year. As long as the teal stays it's never going to be a beautiful livery, but at least they ditched the cheezy airbrushing, went with different shades of teal stripes and there's a substantial obsidian silver to base the tri pointed star on. It's an improvement.

Shame the Petronas colours arent restricted to the name otself on the logos. The car could have been more like the McLaren (but with a title sponsor). It will look better when lapping Renault powered cars :hehe:

Rosberg's comments on driving the W05:

"The car feels ok, it doesn't feel too different," he added. "It feels heavier so it feels like last year in a race with a lot of fuel, there's less downforce and the engine is a bit different. There are higher gears so at a hairpin you are going to be using third gear instead of first gear sometimes, like last year.

So it's like....2013 with heavier fuel load and higher gears out of slower corners due to the torque, only they were already doing it last year to save tyres. So all the reg changes were simply a test for engine manufacturers, might as well name it the new Formula Merc-Rarri-Nault. :hehe:
