I think it is toss-up really. Initially I would say Hulkenberg, but Perez seemed to be getting his act together towards the end of last year. He has potential, but to this point lacks the polish of Nico. This will be very interesting.

Went with Hulkenberg, solely because he is on Ferrari's radar!

So is Perez :wavey:

Was.

And Hulk is therefore also 'was' as Ferrari did not employ him after showing interest, unless ofcourse you have proof that they have signed a pre contract for the future, the kind of thing they might do with an academy driver for example

If Ferrari still had any interest in Perez whatsoever, they would never have let him go to McLaren of all places. They may not have signed Nico yet, but they have not lost interest either.

You can prove this? McLaren could have snapped up Hulk like they did Perez. I heard Seb was the top target, Monte even mentioned Lewis

I think Hulkenberg will edge it. But I won't be surprised if I'm wrong. Perez was better than he was made out to be. It will be interesting.

I dont have to, every driver is on every teams radar :wavey:

It was claimed Hulk was something to Ferrari that Perez is not, I was just interested in finding out if you guys had some inside info or if it was just an assumption that doesnt stand up against Ferraris actual actions

Actually that's not true. Luca said last year, Ferrari was not interested in Hamilton.

Were his eyes bright green as he spoke? Or was Alonso in the wings with eyebrows drawn together and his hand on his squeaky toy.

I am sure it would be different if Lewis popped into for a chat

just saying, every driver is on every teams radar

Every year at this function Di Montezemolo is asked whether Hamilton, now of Mercedes, will ever join Ferrari. So Di Montezemolo pre-empted it himself. He said he liked the British driver as ‘a fighter’.

Of Vettel, Red Bull’s world champion, he said: ‘I like him. There is no politics with him, no manager in the middle. He’s nice and concentrated, and likes to win.

After Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton are my favourites – and Raikkonen ‘of course’, remembering the Finn he has brought back to the team for his ‘experience of how to control a race’, which promises to be an important consideration given the seismic rule changes coming in for 2014.

And radar is often used to warn of potential disaster. :hehe:

So Luca says the three recognised top drivers are his favourites. Some deep profound thinking going on there!
And then he adds Kimi as an afterthought. :hehe: good job Kimi's not touchy.

Maybe the afterthought was after the thought of the amount of money they paid Kimi to leave the team plus the amount they paid him to come back :hehe:
