I think it is toss-up really. Initially I would say Hulkenberg, but Perez seemed to be getting his act together towards the end of last year. He has potential, but to this point lacks the polish of Nico. This will be very interesting.

If Ferrari still had any interest in Perez whatsoever, they would never have let him go to McLaren of all places. They may not have signed Nico yet, but they have not lost interest either.

I think Hulkenberg will edge it. But I won't be surprised if I'm wrong. Perez was better than he was made out to be. It will be interesting.

Maybe the afterthought was after the thought of the amount of money they paid Kimi to leave the team plus the amount they paid him to come back
