I was on for a serious f**king points haul, I mean SERIOUS haul (almost hitting 80 points) until bloody Daniel "I'm an Animal!" Ricciardo planted it in the barriers and f**ked the race up.

Worst case scenario (mathematically speaking, of course), if Vettel wins the next three races, it's over with three races to go on the calendar!!

There is that possibility. In 2 of the next 3 races - Korea and India - Vettel has never been actually beaten (his car conked out when leading in 2010) and has a reasonably good record in Japan. He'll get a new gearbox before Korea and that is another useful factor.
