\o/ might go spa next year then instead of silverstone

There should be no "might" about it!

Choosing between Spa and Silverstone is like choosing between paying £1mill for Bugatti Veyron or £1mill for a 1985 Lada Riva with no engine. You'd choose the Veyron so go to Spa.

Both tracks are very interisting actually and it is difficult to choose the best I guess.
And in our days new lada riva is very popular for some people:)

Spa hands down for me. Silverstone is crap by comparision.

A new Lada Riva wouldn't be a bad proposition but one that is 27 years old, has no engine and costs £1mill is not a good deal.

It was a joke about Lada. I am from Moscow and some people still drive it in our days:)
Of course, Spa is brilliant in a crown of the F-1, but I was very upset after reconstruction of this track. I don't like new "bus stop" for example. In additional, Spa is rainy very often. In the past, there were many excellent races, Spa 1998 for example. But in our days, FIA doesn't allow to race in the rain very often and this race appear like a slow parade of cars:(

In the same time, silverstone is mecca of british autosport and it is very valuable for many people.
I am sorry for my english. I hope I managed to explain my thoughts clearly:)

Well said  And don't worry about your English, its fine :)

Obviously great news.

Question is does this mean Paul Ricard has been shelved, or is something else gonna give to create the space? France absolutely must have an F1 race in my view.

For years Lada Rivas were the butt of jokes here but now that we're all grown up, they are actually pretty good cars (unless they are 27 years old, have no engine and cost £1mill :hehe: ).

Yeah, the new bus stop isn't much of a bus stop anymore which is a shame as it was a good place to pass. Silverstone isn't a track that gets me excited the way Spa or Monza does. There's just something about it that always makes me feel let down after watching the British GP.

Your English is fine, nothing wrong with it at all. No need at all to apologise. :)

I think Monaco is close enough.

I think Gran Prix in France is only question of money.
Bernie wants too much money for participating in Formula one from country. It is easier to be in Formula one already, than to enter in this "world" again.
There is financial turmoil in the world. In general, for last several years, Asian and Arabian countries, that have much oil, can afford to pay much money for participating in Formula one.

Nice. Next step to make the calendar even better, axe Valencia and Abu Dhabi from the calendar. Lesser, more exciting races...with some space for Russia and USA to fill in.

Valencia was the best race this year!

Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Monaco need to go, as does Bahrain.

Interesting. I totally agree with you that Valencia was pretty bloody brilliant this season.

But Singapore to go? Why? It's rarely boring, and almost always more exciting than Monaco and Abu Dhabi put together.

I'm still wondering why talks of changing the layout of the Abu Dhabi circuit have gone notably quiet? :irked:

I dunno, I mean I just don't like street circuits tbh, although Singapore is the best one so I suppose that should be kept.
