7 – Felipe Massa
Felipe’s form will get even worse with the state the F2012 beneath him is in at the start of the season. His confidence will be further knocked by the speedy Spaniard in the other Ferrari and he might find himself joining another team for 2013. Ferrari will realise that it’s finally time for Felipe to depart. The unfortunate Brazilian was never really the same after his accident in Hungary in 2010.

2009! 2009 Sir! Back in the old days, when Barrichello was a winner, the car in front was a Brawn (with loose springs) and Jaime Algersuari was a teeny-weeny 19 year old tot! :whip:

Oop, sorry, my 20 year old brain didn't help me there! :irked:

It's OK, my 22 year old brain didn't help me either. I misspelt Jaime's surname!

Shocking behaviour... :P

Alguersuari and Karthikeyan were the two that I etched into my memory to spell correctly so that I didn't have to waste time searching Google to make sure that the spelling was correct, lol.

I've got 'em to a tee now! Waste of time really because Jaime won't be racing and Narain will be gone by the half way point of the season.

You never know... Karthikeyen could be a champion yet!

Red Bull - I expect them to come out on top overall. They won't be as far ahead as last season but I do expect them to have the constructors title sewed up before the last race. Webber will get the short straw for much of the season and I can see him giving a few "edgy" interviews towards the end.

McLaren - Should be Red Bull's major challengers. They will win much more races than last season, but will just fall short. Both drivers will finish ahead of Webber and both will show how talented they are again. I'm more of a Button man myself and I expect him to be closer to Vettel than Hamilton. Next season they will get it perfect though.

Ferrari - Will start slowly. A few dodgy races were they are lucky to get on the podium. They'll sort their s*** out around race 5/6 though and be much more competitive. Sadly it will already be too late. During the season it will be announced that Massa is to leave. Possibly swapping with Rosberg. Alonso will win 1 or 2 races but that won't be enough for him personally and he will want to leave. Possibly to Red Bull - taking Webber's place.

Mercedes - More improvements from these guys. Schuey and Rosberg will be on the podium a few times throughout the season but they won't get a win... not yet. Their best bet is to start strongly and challenge Ferrari for as long as they can.

Lotus - Go on Kimi! I expect much of the same from Lotus this year. Behind the Mercs and Ferrari. Kimi will overachieve and could possibly battle for a podium if the conditions are right, sadly Grosjean is punching above his weight. Going to be a tough season for him and he'll always be judged against Kimi. They'll be happy to be best of the rest come the end of the season.

Sauber - Stability will be their strength. Both drivers will happily score points as often as they can and will show some surprising pace. They'll be better than the rest of the midfield come the end of the season - thanks to some great racing from Kobayashi in his last season at the team.

Force India - Less points than last season. As usual they will show great pace in one or two tracks but generally they're going to be scrapping with the midfield group again. Neither driver will be particularly impressive which could lead to questions about their position at the team.

Torro Rosso - Squandered potential. Despite obviously having a fast car they will struggle to defeat the Williams for most of the season. Rookie drivers will be their downfall and I expect a few strong words behind the scenes around the half way mark. Ricciardo is a big risk and I can't see it paying off.

Williams - Another long hard season. They will pick up more points than last season and both drivers will battle to the best of their abilities but that's it really. Points here and there but generally they will sit just behind the rest of the midfield.

Caterham - Some may expect them to join the midfield, but I can't see it. Both drivers will be battling each other for most of the season and Petrov will come out on top. Points are the dream for this season but they will have to wait another year I feel. Stuck in no man's land really. Too fast for the HRT and Marussia teams - too slow for Williams and Torro Rosso.

HRT - What can you say really? It will come down to who has the better drivers between them and Marussia really. I think De La Rosa will be the best of the lower four drivers. Will be happy as long as they finish races.

Marussia - If Charles Pic can show some surprising pace then Marussia will be the better team. We just have to wait and see. Glock will be solid and probably faster than Karthekijyahhyahagan in a good few qualifying sessions.

Read it.

Read every single beautiful, poetic word.

EDIT - To be honest, it's nothing that hasn't been said before really. But there you go. I'm writing an article this week looking to the new season so it benefited me to get those words down.

You mean including this?: Karthekijyahhyahagan

I still can't figure out how to pronounce that.

I did read it actually, just feeling playful. I guess I'm not much of either an alternate history nor a predictions man, the here and now keeps me muy ocupado. After last year though, I'd be happy with a season where at least one of the championships is decided in the last race.

I got last half way through. It seemed like the sensible thing to do.

I predict that the battle for the title will be between Red Bull and McLaren, followed by a squabble between Ferrari, Mercedes and Lotus for third place in the championship!

Drivers title will be between Vettel, Hamilton and Button, and maybe Webber if he can get to grips with the Pirelli tyres this season!

Mclaren to win the WCC
VET to win WDC

Marussia to get the wooden spoon.

Force India to go bust by the end of the year. Hopefully withmore dignity than ProstGP

Why do you think Force India is struggling for money?

Kingfisher Airlines was not doing too well when Mallya bought the team. He did make it clear that his profit margins from Kingfisher has no bearing on his F1 team's existence.
