Have to agree with the majority here.Has to favour red bull.I think it could even be that much of a RBR track that it will be a 1-2,even with Webber at the wheel :hehe:

Hopefully we get some rain if that's the case, spice things up a bit

You know its pretty sad that for everyone to bag a guy this year, the same guy to have won 4 races and 5 poles in 2010 to the youngest ever champion wank wank Wettel's 5 and 10 supposid greatest of all time youngest this youngest that bs.

Bud, I bet there are many here who would love Webber to take the fight to Vettel and beat him...but you have to admit his performance this year has greatly SUCKED. Look at the points difference between him and Vettel, and compare it to the Ferrari duo...I'm sure Massa looks like a right noob to you, well sadly Webber's not far off that stature. Past and future doesn't matter when the present is all people care about mate.

BTW I like Webber and was hoping he'd win last year out the 4 contenders, but he didn't.

Aye, Im not doubting this year he has beet trounced, But what we the fans do not know is whether the technical development leaned towards Vettels style which is why he has no problems with tyre wear while Webber can't seem to rub one out with Pirelli or Durex. I dunno, maybe cos i race Karts i know drivers don't forget how to drive its a matter of circumstances but a lot of fan boys tend to think Webber can't drive. which ok you think that... but then think Vettel is the best ever... ok but you're comparing to a guy that you said can't drive... so which iso it? Surely for Vettel a guy that can drive would be better to beat no? :banghead: or else it all comes down to his car! which a lot of people think. I know for certain Lewis Hamailton would have won back to back title in that car, i KNow for certain Fernando Alonso would have won back to back title in that car, so why not talk up Webber? A guy who lead the title chase longest last season.

This...And not just because Webber seems like a really nice guy. Its actually pretty frustrating I think for many in the sport to see a dominant car in the Red Bull and yet not have both drivers competing with each other to see who can get the maximum out of it.

I do think Vettel has really matured as a driver over the past two years and has gained an enormous amount of confidence through his success. The Vettel of early 2010 is not half the driver of the one we see today IMO. This reflects harshly on Webber who has almost certainly remained the same driver throughout the period. This is before we even take into account Webber's problems with the new Pirelli tyres.

I think though its this last point that reflects a tiny bit badly on Webber as a driver. To me it marks him out as a very good driver but that he was never going to be a multi-WDC winner. Its just frustrating for race fans because we really just want to see the best drivers going out each other in equal (or close to it) machinery. Having someone clearly not able to keep up with his team mate in the best car makes it feel like that drive is almost being wasted. And I think it is this that has generated some of the sarky remarks about Webber.

Would depend for me to an extent on who the team mate was. All we can really say is that in the dominant Red Bull Vettel was able to gradually gain supremacy over Webber in 2010 and then really underline this in 2011.

If we can categorically claim that Hamiton and Alonso also would have done this to Webber in the Red Bull (which may indeed be the case) then it starts to reflect badly on Webber's right to have a seat in the best car in the sport.
