some of those venues are poo!!!!!

agreed.

get rid of India, Korea, all the middle Eastern races for a start. USA is ok as USA should have a GP since traditionally they have had one. However it should be like it was traditionally. Before or after Canada and mid season. Traditional is all that matters. So speaking of that bring back Imola, France and the A1 ring as well.

oh come on..

How can anyone say to get rid of Korea? That circuit had a poor start, but the track lay out looks amazing to me. And how can you be so harsh on these middle eastern countries?

I think the Middle East only needs one race. AD should Stay Bahrain should go.

Notes: Turkey gone as a definite.
6 sets of back-to-back race weekends.

Great that Melbourne kicks off the series. Shame that Turkey is gone. Personally I would have ditched Borerain for Istanbul - especially as the former is very unlikely to occur or if it does will cause F1 a load of bad publicity. The Middle East does only require 1 Grand Prix too.

Don't see the benefit to having a load of back-to-back Grand Prixs for anyone (it also means you go away on holiday at your peril) and I'm not a fan of the big long break in August. It seems amazing to think there will be 9! Grand Prix taking place in the Autumn.

NO PLACE FOR TURKEY?F*CK THIS SH*T!!! I just cant believe how people in charge of that(in Turkey) didnt listen us.Such a pity for thousands of passionate f1 fans in Turkey, such a pity for all our trying and such a pity for 2012's city of sports not having f1 race whereas there is a track.Such apity for this enjoyable track and 300 million dollars paid for the track.I dont know what to say anymore!! :(:(

get rid of India, Korea,

WTF????

We haven't even SEEN a race in India, how can you make that call?

As for Korea, the ONE RACE we've seen there was excellent!

What are you talking about? :nono:

The problem with the Korean GP was a combination of rain and new tarmac.

As for India, how on earth can anyone write it off before the 1st race?!

I know! Absolute :bs: comments, that are just extreme for the sake of being extreme. :nono:

Ah i feared that Turkey might go and that's a shame as it was a good track, however not well supported at all. (Circuit organisers estimated the race day attendance in 2011 to be around 35,000)

The circuits I would take out would be Bahrain, Valencia, Barcelona, Abu Dhabi. But Brazil is exactly a month from Christmas!

Lew's thoughts on the circuits for 2012. :pinkelephant:

Melbourne - fantastic circuit
Sepang - good circuit :)
Shanghai - good circuit :)
Bahrain - was famously crap in 2010, but I'm only passing judgement when I see it under new regs, because I bet overtaking would be rife, especially without that twisty bit they added
Barcelona - terrible.
Monaco - brilliant venue, although that's more down to glamour and history than the actual racing. :)
Montreal - fantastic circuit
Valencia - not so good
Silverstone - love it
Hockenheim - great circuit... I KNOW it was once a fearsome blast through the forest, but now it's a driver tester and not just a machine tester
Budapest - you know what? The races since 2005 have all been good! :)
Spa - fantastic circuit!
Monza - fantastic circuit... my favourite!
Singapore - good circuit :)
Suzuka - fantastic circuit!
Korea - I like what I've seen so far. :)
India - waiting to see...
Abu Dhabi - eager to see these supposed upgrades to improve passing opportunities!
Texas - waiting to see...
Interlagos - fantastic circuit  now fully established as a great season-closer.

Hockenheim is just another circuit now that doesn't stand out. Once it stood from the rest like Monza and Spa do, now it could be anywhere.

Don't get me wrong, I loved it in its older guise, but it's in no way only an average circuit now! Tests the driver much more than it used to, and still has ample overtaking opportunities.

True, but it has lost what made it special.

Yes I agree.

It no longer stands out as an iconic venue, but the racing remains excellent.

Ah yes I forgot, Hockenheim should go too, it isn't what it once was...

No way should it go. Would you suggest that Nurburgring should go, just because it isn't like it used to be??? Or that Monza should go because it lost its banked corners?

Sad about Turkey when at least 3 very crappy tracks have been left in :(
Dont dispair Elfinnity, other tracks have been dropped only to reappear. Silverstone only got in by the skin of its teeth a couple of years ago.
