No I can't say that I have ever sat in a current (or very recent) F1 chassis. Now, that would be pretty cool!

I had to make do with F3000 cars, including Frentzen's 93 Lola. Its amazing how small those cockpits used to be!

After seeing how Senna & Ratzenberger succumbed to wheels coming back into the cockpit, I must say I felt a touch exposed sitting in them. We all were pretty lucky for a long time. Today's cars are just so much better in that regard, thankfully......

i think in 2003 or 2004, i went to a car event or a AMA motorcross race, somewhere here in california, and Bridgestone had a Ferrari F1 car on display. At the time I was not really too big into F1 since in the US the races are on a subscription service and I did not follow it.

Hehe, not have I only touched an F1 car but also got to drive one at Mallory Park with the Everyman F1 driving experience day, a 1988 F1 Tyrrell. Now while in its day it wasnt a front runner it still managed to score a few F1 championship points, and the team itself has won a few championships in its past.
One of the best things I have ever done, just wish it had been on a bigger circuit!

I have no idea. Didnt get a chance to look in the engine bay and was so excited about driving the thing i never thought to ask!
