It will be close. Nurburgring has some Spa elements to it and the top 3 teams were handling it very well.

I think this will be either a Mclaren or Ferrari victory. RedBull dont do so well on this track, and im not saying that because of Seb's crash.

I thought RBRs were suited to the high-speed corners...

They are, i think last year they were purple through the middle sector. What they struggle with is the massive straights which occupy the first and third sector.

The Merc engine will probably allow McLarens to rule Eau Rouge and 3rd sector.

Hope it stays bone dry throughout weekend. :P

I thinking that Mclaren and Ferrari will have the edge over Red Bull aswell and also Force India could go well too perhaps and be best of the rest.

I love this track, Hopefully it stays on the calender forever but you never know when Bernie will ditch it for something else.

McLaren should dominate in theory, their car is ideally suited to this track. Depends on tyres (for Hamilton) and the weather though.

You're kidding right?

No...I want to see another Nurburgring. :D

If it's wet at tracks like this...we could see a Mercedes podium (We almost did in Canada!)

Its the only way Merc can get poduims. They have big problems rear tyres, there just killing those tyres in the dry.

i LOVE Spa!!!!!! My favourite track bar none! Might have to make a night of it! :drink:

but if you are going to talk about Schumacher at Spa, you cannot forget him and Coultard in the 98 race.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

then there is Hakkinen's Pass on Schumacher and Zonta in 00.

Is that not the one where Coulthard did as he was told? I remember being told that he wrote about this incident in his book and it turned out he was only following orders. Don't know who accurate this is. Anyone read it?

You have to talk about 1995! 16th to 1st and sending Damon Hill running crying to the stewards for nothing but a bit of good old fashioned balls out hairy arsed hard racing. :rotfl:

The most impressive thing about the '98 race from Schumacher was driving on three wheels. The car still looked like it was glued to the race track!

I was impressed by him being kept from thumping Coulthard!
