DRS might make all the difference

I hope so but still don't like Valencia as a circuit.

trying to think about the drs zones, down into turn 2 maybe ? it does have quite a large curve just beyond the starting grid and the most obvious one would be after turn 10 with a activation zone sort of around "Turn 11" ( which isn't really a proper turn).

oh and will we have 2 or 1 zone ? i hope 2 completely separate zones so we can have overtake followed by counter possible overtake.

Not to fond of the Valencia Street circuit. but it should be another development battle since part winter testing was done there!!! would be nice to see how the Mac's square up against the RB's

The winter testing didn't take place on this circuit.

I'm also one of the ones hoping that JB carries the momentum and can fight for another win, or that Webber can give his team-mate a run for his money. We'll see, though. I expect the championship to change more after Silverstone, but with DRS, KERS and tyres, Valencia could end up being an interesting race.

Awful awful circuit this.

Even with the tyre changes I expect this to still be a bit of crap race certainly compared to other tracks.

It shouldn't be on the calendar and the Nürburgring should be back.

The Nurburgring is back, I love this track to the "new" Hockenheimring

I hope Schumacher can carry on his roll from Canada

i started following f1 on and off throughout 2005-2006 and then started to really get into it in 2007 and i have to say i havent found a season where i would call it 'boring'..have you seen the last few races...its been great stuff and unfortunatly Vettel has ended up winning the majourity but like i said i PERSONALLY wouldnt call this season boring...(not with DRS, Pirelli tyres and Kers) i hope Valencia will be just as good as the last 3 races

I still don't think DRS is the answer to the overtaking situation. It makes the car in front a sitting duck at some circuits. I wish they would bring back ground effect and abolish the wings, that would enable them to follow close again and overtake with skill rather than a "cheat"

Ah wow how did I miss seeing that on the calendar.

Good to see its replaced the Boringring. I really miss the old Hockenheim circuit layout but health and safey and all them trees I guess.

I agree with some guys this season is so boring compared to 2010 or it itself is boringlike!But maybe we will have some fun at and after Silverstone.Anyway,i cant like this race since in my opinion it is useless to have 2 GP S in one country.I think most people agree with me about this stuff.
Anyway i am one of the ones who think DRS will make this race more enjoyable to watch.Isnt it the lack opportunities of overtaking what everyone complains about?

Here here! I have found this season anything but boring, each race has had its own interesting points, and as to continuous Vettel wins, it just means everyone else has to raise their game, i would like to see the likes of Mercedes, Sauber, Lotus etc improve their pace so it gets mixed up a little though!

Well its the first and last ill say on the matter but i sure hope theres a written rule that the length of bans are at a mods discretion, ive been banned twice before by the same mod funnily enough. I see tex has two warnings, assuming you gave him his third, is a two week ban not what the law of the forum asks for.

Not that he deserves it, but id like to know.

My money is on a Mclaren win personally,


Lets say Red Bull has always had the quali best car, in pace its rather equal, and in monaco, almost in canada and spain very forutnate events have swung in vettels favour. Hamilton has had his yearly set of bad races and he'll do his normal (ironically normal for him is extraordinary) races and fight for a win.

From Silverstone onwards the trend will remain that Vettel gets poles and race pace is abouts the same.


Looking forward to this Grand Prix the most along with Britain. DRS and Pirellis should make Valencia a right corker for once.

There is a fishing trip section in the forum guidelines that details it in writing, yes.
