Ferrari is ran by Santander

Yeah, and also specially because of what we saw last yr. They should have replaced Alonso midway through the season, kept Massa and hired Chandhok instead. That would have been the perfect lineup. I'm surprised they didnt go with it this yr. I think the same people that calibrate their wind tunnels are the same guys hiring their drivers.

Why is that? Massa is behind Alonso in points...again. While he has had some promising periods where he was leading his teammate..were those due to Massa out driving him? I like Massa. I like that he isn't as much of a public whiner as Alonso, Hamilton and all of RedBull, but to say that he is on par skill wise with pretty much any of those whining babies is a real stretch in my mind. I hope he proves me wrong.

I would love to see him put on a series of amazing drives, but that I believe it unlikely. I think he is a solid, dependable, average F1 driver. Seldom stands out. Seldom does anything amazing. Not sure he deserves the seat he occupies to be real honest and the idea that Ferrari will dump Alonso and keep Massa........nah.

Cheers. :drink:

I think sarcasm should be taken into account when talking about replacing Alonso. It would be good to see Alonso challenged again by his team mate and see how he reacts again.

To be honest, I would like to see Massa challenge Nando. Mostly because I think he is capable and because I'd like that point to be proven. It would also make clear the statement that, when the season is open, Ferrari gives both drivers every opportunity to achieve their best.

I always knew it would happen, but I was still pleased for the rest of the world to see that Ferrari were more than happy to let Felipe beat Nando these last 2 races.

Like Bara, I have abit of a soft spot for Massa after Brazil 08.

I'm always keen to see Massa do well, but think Alonso will come up trumps as the season wears on as it did last year.

If Massa goes, will it be out or to a smaller team?

Yes, its good to have a good challenge, it raises the bar for both drivers and its definitely more exciting for us to watch. Massa could beat Fernando again in Turkey.

But for a whole season, i still think Massa's biggest weakness has been his inconsistency. I mean, he can show up totally unbeatable like in Turkey, then two races on look like that time at Silverstone in the wet :yikes: (i know that's extreme examples... but just to explain what i'm saying).

In the case of Fernando, he has a more 'reliable' form... for example he had poor/troublesome races in both China and Sepang, but still was right with Massa and better in Q.

Nico is like this, very consistent. I dont remember him retiring from a gp through a fault of his own.....

But anyway, the only thing that matters is how much longer will Vettel be so solid. Until he starts to fumble, everyone will end up looking mediocre.

I would not mind seeing Rosberg replace Massa or Alonso and as far as this season is concerned I think Massa has matched if not surpassed Alonso so who knows.

I wouldn't mind seeing Massa elsewhere, he'll probably be happier. Barrichello has enjoyed post-Ferrari life immensely, and Massa could do with going down the same road.

Rumours are that if Massa is kicked out, RB would be snapping him up to replace Webber. But I can't see this happening as they have their own driver training academy going on with the Toro Rosso guys lined up.

Won't it be funny though if Massa does get a 1 year contract with them and wins the WDC with a dominant car. :hehe:
