2. I lived in southern Spain for nearly a decade, and I speak fluent spanish
3. I have a nine month old ginger cat called Sprite
4. My first date with my boyfriend cost £120. We both paid £60 each for a 6-month subscription to Guardian Soulmates, met up with one person (each other), fell in love and deactivated our profiles

6. I have a very quick temper, and I get very angry very quickly
7. I hate deception, injustice and dishonesty. These all make me very angry
8. I am enormously clumsy. I break things and crash things on a regular basis. My boyfriend has threatened to take out extra insurance on his flat just to be extra safe
9. My first car was a silver Ford Ka 1.3. I crashed it a lot
10. I've lived in London for 5 years. On average I've moved house every 18 months. I'm moving again at the end of May.

Here's something from me (btw, Excellent thread):

1. I'm almost 2 metres tall, always been the tallest in my classes. :hehe: Trained basketball, was very good at it, but had to quit due to the school obligations and knee problems. :(
2. I'm listening to rock/metal music since I was born, thanks to my brother :twisted:
3. I play a bass guitar for 7 years now, played an acoustic (classic) guitar before that, so I understand both instruments very good; would like to learn how to play a piano
4. I moved a dozen of times, thanks to war, financial issues and politics.
5. I'm a total SF fan, no need to mention Star Trek, Star Wars, etc...
6. I just love all the racing sports (F1 on the top), Ice Hockey and English Premiere League / Champions League
7. In the beginning of summer 2009 I was drunk on every day for a straight month, worked every day aswell in a tormental heat (no air-conditioning device), had average sleep time of 3-4 hours. :hehe:
8. Paid for my driving school and licence, never driven after that, have no car and, currently, no job, still studying :D
9. I speak English, German, and Serbian (naturally)
10. I'm mostly very good in doing Quizzes, IQ tests, etc... I was pretty good in chess, but the thing bored me to death! :hehe:

6. Have a little brother.
7. Have worked in 3 different retail stores.

This was the first thread I visited this morning.

5. My wife was briefly my brother's girlfriend, though I knew her first... :hehe:

This would make for a slightly odd family get together, but given your family... you've done quite well! :hehe:

[*] After 4 years of working in Geek Squad, I recently quit to start up a street-food Taco Cart with my friend. We hope to be up-and-running in about 6 weeks.

If I'm ever in St. Luis, I'll make it a point to buy a taco from you! I'm a big supporter of real small business where the owner is the person serving you.

7, I hate Marmite

8, I am a Sci Fi buff, but hate all the matrix films

Come on... you're allowed to hate the second and third films but the first one was a revolutionary piece of filmaking! Oh, and I've no clue what Marmite is... going to Google itafter the post.

7. I hate deception, injustice and dishonesty. These all make me very angry

I hear you with this one... I'm very much the same way, but I don't get angry about it, It's my nature to try and fix it.

5. I'm a total SF fan, no need to mention Star Trek, Star Wars, etc...

Seems to be a recurring theme with our forum members! Captain Kirk... first person on TV to ever use and iPad. :P

1. I'm a Trekkie and general Sci-Fi fan. It upsets me that we have several Star Wars smilies on this forum but no Star Trek ones Image

2. I studied Physics at Durham University and graduated a few years back

3. I was deeply upset when my primary school decided I would learn the flute instead of my favourite instrument, the piano. I have very long fingers for a woman and a passion for the piano, I could have been great. :furious:

4. I will watch almost any spot. Obviously F1 but also snooker, rugby, cricket, athletics, golf, swimming, cycling, tennis etc. Anything but football (unless England are playing).

5. I'm currently in the process of becoming a physics teacher, only about 10 weeks to go :D

6. I've never had a pet. If I had to have one it would be a cat, I'm terrified of dogs.

7. I have a ridiculous fear of flies. Spiders I'm fine with but flies, for some bizarre reason, turn me into an absolute baby.

8. I love to read, my favourite authors are Fyodor Dostoevsky and Jane Austen. I'm also a Harry Potter fanatic

9. I've recently turned into a bit of a shopaholic. I used to hate shopping but lately I've managed to quadruple my wardrobe size.

10. I love maths, I could sit down for hours on end doing sums and am currently brainwashing my nephew to feel the same way.

Tommi as in Tommi Makkinen
and Jenson don't think I need to explain that one.

I just did not get the Matrix thing at all, it was an interesting concept but I just did not like the films lol

Marmite, is something you either love or hate aparently. For me it tastes like an ash tray.

Matrix was cool. Marmite is like Cenovis or Vegemite: a brown concoction with yeast tasting like :hurl: What a waste of yeast when it could be used to make :drink:

10. People who spell 'lose' as 'loose' really make myblood boil... I don't care when people make a typo, or have general bad grammar, but 'loose' makes my urge to kill rise... :P

Loosen up, lose your urges and you'll lead a happy life outside of prison
