I'm more performance than looks and I respect your opinion but dang that black livery is cool I think. Albeit it is not true Lotus colors atleast they (Lotus Renault) are easy to pickout right?

I think Ferrari should have gone with a Special edition Yellow paint job for the 150th anniversary of Italy. Just a 1 year thing.

I love the new Renault Black and Gold. I also think the darker more blue Williams is sexy.

i like the new color. MUCH better than the Renault 08-09 car scheme........ just by the looks you could tell that car was slow.

Some like it and some don't but the colors of a car I think you would agree have nothing to do with their performance which is the most important aspect .

Absolutely not true, some colors are faster than others and wind tunnel results prove it.

The red total badges on the Renault are what put me off. They got to be a fitting colour on the RB7 why not Renault? With that said I still prefer last years bumblebee Renault.

Yuk! what's with the 'black is the new black' treatment? I loved the bright /in your face yellow of previous seasons. The sport is greatly underhanded when it comes to color variation these days. What with an ugly uncharacteristic navy blue RB, the ever so unoriginal silver treatment for the McLarens and Mercedes and the rest of the cars on the grid, with a pretty much slight twist to an otherwise plain white paintjob...the only car that still has some spunk is the Ferrari .
F1 needs more color! Surely this might not warrant too serious of a conversation compared to other performance related subjects but I think it deserves a mention as a side note!

the 2010 bumble bee yellow and black Renault was a awesome livery. Those are Renault colours and suited them well.
Don't know why Renault chose to have Lotus as there title sponser. Surley they could of found a sponser with yellow colours.

I'm surprised you picked on Renault....their livery is the BEST on the grid.

I'm getting a bit bored with McLarens chrome obsession though. they need to revert back to the old black/white of their late 90's. That livery was really shouting 'the Modern McLaren'. The current one is a bit too attention seeking.

Oh, and worst livery is HRT. The car looks like someone puked on it, and lets not forget the lame "THIS IS A COOL SPOT"...." THIS IS THE END OF CAR"...wtf?? this is a serious business, not abstract art.

There's your problem. They're not Renault, they're Genii Capital. They're called Renault so that they can continue to receive TV Revenues -you lose them if you change the chassis name.

If you care so much about variation and shizzle, get a petition going to paint c*cks on the side of the car. Maybe some breasts for sidepods. Thats sure as hell varied. Itd be unique as anything. Unless of course toro rosso and red bull adopted the idea and monopolised 4 liveries for johnsons.
